Sorry, can't buy this as a valid reason. Black people fucking over black people across the globe has been a problem for hundreds of years. Just read African history and current events there and in North America - you can still see it every day. Genocide in Africa in modern times was not in fact perpetrated by whites.

In India and Pakistan, the historical caste system within which brown people have been fucking over brown people on a global scale has been around for thousands of years, and continues across every country in the world today.

Chinese have been oppressing other asian peoples for thousands of years, and continue to do so.

But nowadays, it's deemed bad form and politically incorrect to call out POC for their poor social, moral, ethical, religious and political behaviors.

So instead, we attack whites as the root of all evil, and perpetuate the theory that supposes 'white privilege' is the cause of global racial misery and oppression for POC.

Yes and white people fucked over other white people during history. What is your point then? That we should ignore systemic racial and economic inequalities throughout human history and atrocities such as genocides of Indigenous people, imperialism and enslavement of African civilians, Japanese/Asian internment camps, etc. all are trivial to you because you witnessed income/poverty struggles within individual countries that had nothing to do with racism but rather CLASSISM that you fail to acknowledge as legitimate issues? Do you care about individual class or income struggles within individual countries or are you simply using them as nothing more than ammunition to silence people who have been marginalized throughout human history? The irony here is most of poverty in Africa is CAUSED by Americans and Europeans; they want Africa, India, and other racially marginalized communities to be poor so they can exploit cheap labour, and most of genocide are committed by upper class people in those countries who have ties with Americans and Europeans, which, surprise surprise, is linked to systemic racism (and classism).

Checking one's privilege does not mean crucifying them. And systemic racism, imperialism, homophobia still happens to this day and not just a "thing in the past"; for instance, this thread is a good example.
