Made with Love

So What Do You Learn This Year?

In any business dealing now I make sure that my attorney is there with me because he thinks about the legal ramifications about any business arrangement that I may make and puts it on the table right away. He also has my interests in mind. I've found that anybody who objects to this arrangement is probably deep down a grifter.

A good working relationship with a lawyer is invaluable. Finding a lawyer who is business smart and not just legal smart is crucial.

From my perspective, there's nothing more frustrating than a client who thinks they know better or who doesn't bother to think, and then expects me to clean up their mess afterwards. I've got a new policy, if you're going to ask for my advice, bloody well follow it or find yourself another stooge.

(btw, also another lesson I've learned this year - it's ok to fire clients. Life is too short to deal with fools.)
