Something to THINK about when posting

I've noticed that some people here do not think before they hit the reply button. Certain types of comments are what drive the ladies away from the boards. So please THINK before you post.

Back handed comments, derogatory comments. If its not a necessary observation on a lady then dont say it. It's one thing to make a light joke or a silly joke but some comments can be offensive. If she's not your type, thats fine but dont knock someone else's review because the lady isnt your type kinda thing.

Good point and a helpful reminder. The only thing I wish to point out is that constructive criticism should be welcomed. This is business, not personal. Hence, what's said may not be kind (so long as it is true).

no place for cruel or hurtful commentary though.

Swede is very good at the constructive elements of a not-so-good date.

Capo is cruel and/or hurtful.

Constructive in a helpful way is one thing, constructive in a negative way doesnt help.

A review on a thin and tall sp recently had one guy comment, too skinny for me. Instead of just leaving the review alone he threw his 2 cents in because she isnt what he wants to see in a sp. That is why the ladies hate the review boards. We dont need the white knights but we do need to think before we hit the reply button.

A comment I made nearly a decade ago about writing negative reviews has stood the test of time...

[h=2]Newbies guide to posting a negative review[/h]
After having removed quite a number of reviews that were badly written, I have the following suggestions on how to write a negative review.

1. Never let your emotions dictate the contents of your review.

2. Without going into explicit details, calmly write the reasons behind your dissatisfaction of the service without "attacking" the person being reviewed.

3. Sometimes its not the fault of the agency, if this is the case, don't blame the agency. Instead, contact them and make them aware of the situation. Give them a chance to make good without threatening them.

4. Be realistic, not every woman is going to be perfect even though some of them appear to be when you look at their pictures online.

If you follow this method, you will find the negative reviews being left alone. Many of them are deleted because they were of an inflammatory nature. In other words, written with hate.

I do agree with most of what you are saying. I also think Swede is a master at sharing a bad experience without degrading the provider because in the end they do a very hard job but I don't see why a comment like "she's too thin for me" would be insulting. After all there is a market for everyone and that's evident with how many men enjoy BBW's and let's not even mention the market for spinners.

I for one am not fond of scars or mummy tummies. I really appreciate it when this is somehow conveyed in a review although I can see how this can be embarrassing for the provider.

Ok....here goes.....as a woman you take pride in your looks and
what you have to offer....If someone wrote she is to thin well the
young lady may internalize it....being too thin or too heavy is hard for some
women to hear....

Why comment on that ....this is why I have a hard time with guys posting numbers
for women....because what you may post, people maybe just rushing through the comments
they see something, a low number or a negative comment then that is it, they do not want to go to
the woman.....

Everybody has their own type....and then there are ones who just like being negative...
sometimes I really do not think they have seen the woman.....

Being a woman when I see a negative comment, the first thing I think of is
What did this guy do to upset the woman....especially women who I have read
and research....It takes a Hell of a lot of Balls to Escort......If you really think
about it.......and the situations......

So that is why when it negative I just think well the guy did not either like the woman
no connection or he did something.....and I realize at times the woman may have had a
hard day just like other people, they are People Right...

This is a review board. Personal opinions should not only be welcomed, but encouraged.
Too skinny for me" is not a criticism. It's an expression of personal preference.

Bliss, I get your point and believe me, I'm very cognizant of people's feelings. I am loath to hurt someone's feelings and will generally rather swallow my pride than to make someone feel uncomfortable. But, that's personal. This is business, and this is a review board.

If a girl has a bad day or doesn't feel up to it, work it out. Mummy tummies and fake boobs...if these are realities, it's fair game. If a lady "hates" review boards for these reasons, then I'd say don't read this stuff and to advertising on pure marketing boards where they can control the conversation.

Having said that, I tend to agree that when a very negative review gets posted, it's usually personal and not a strictly professional encounter.

When someone comes into someone's review of a lady and posts this one liner.

Too skinny for my taste.

How is this contributing? He has posted nothing of value, nothing that contributes, just a negative thought. The person he commented on has a great figure, b cups and a nice round butt. Maybe she is too thin for his taste but why come in and say that?

Other situations involve explicit descriptions of the girls down to birthmarks, beauty marks or tattoos. Discretion is key here regardless of whether they are selling themselves. I'm not referring to just here, I'm referring to all of the places where reviews are done.

All I'm saying is, given the internet age and how easy it is to put someone down, just think a little bit before you hit the reply button.

Your are a true gentlemen .... If the lady get a positive review , then someone whom say's .
something negative about her, because they seen her a year ago , and never wrote a review .
But then write something neigative on her postive review
Or as you said Sheik" fine but dont knock someone else's review because the lady isnt your type kinda thing"

Why is because its a value judgment, just like when you say that that person has a "great figure", etc. (which by the way hints at a personal bias).

I agree that more elaboration may be nice, but personal reviews are inherently subjective and the fact that someone found a girl to be "too skinny" may provide useful info to hobbyists. It is after all, simply one opinion of many, and presumably this lady has pics in the public domain. I also happen to think that members are intelligent enough to take one liner posts like that with a grain of salt.

But mostly, I have a big problem with stifling honest opinions. Creating an environment that encourages only rainbows and unicorns is incredibly short-sighted. It fosters short term gain for SPs but ends up costing everyone in the long run through lost integrity and trust. You don't have to be a genius or a long term hobbyist to have seen that in the Toronto scene in recent years.

If you want to get into a discussion about posts of dubious value, pm me or let's meet for a beer. We have much bigger problems than asshats who post "mean" one liners.

That we do.... and we will meet for beer one day.

Wilsonjso.....First I would like to say I love your Avatar...

I still believe Gene said it the best....

Maybe an Outline of what is ok and not.....Posted with the rules......
It would also make it safer for the Escorts because some of the guys could
not threaten to do a negative review......

One other thing....I think we are looking at ourselves, what we do or write and how we
do it.....but there are those out there that really can go over board......they are not
so compassionate with their words....
