Made with Love

Songs for the day...

At the risk of being labeled a hopeless romantic (and showing my age too I'm afraid...):

And something a little more recent:

and it wouldn't be complete without:

and when things start to heat up:

and of course Happy Valentines to me!

I'm guessing a video of YOU with this song would be much more entertaining!

That's not the one that surprised me... She's young and therefore in Britney's target demographic...

I was MORE surprised by Roger Hodgson! (Formerly of 70's- 80's Supertramp fame!)

My 2 favourite Supertramp tunes (at the risk of showing his age again...):

And of course:

fools overture is one of the greatest songs ever written.......funny, I wasn't into supertramp in HS only after I graduated did I really get into them.....freaking amazing musicians. Something, alas, I dont' think we'll ever see again in our lifetime. Too many "britney speers" "Lady Gaga" manufactured "stars" today......

Totally agree with everything you've said...

For me however I WAS into Supertramp in a VERY big way back in High School. Aside from REALLY enjoying their music, John Helliwell was like my IDOL!

I played sax all through high school and he was one of the biggest things in rock music as far as SAX players go back then. He was featured in many of their songs.

I always liked Supertramp, here's where they got the idea for the haunting harmonica at the beginning of "School".
They didn't have harmonicas in our school band.
Hope it's okay to hijack a Valentine thread, Miss Kyra.

I saw Supertramp live in I'll guess 1980 for the Breakfast in America tour at Landsdown Park in Ottawa. Tremendous show and event.

Between 1974 and 1982 I counted all of mt tickets stubs up a few years ago and I had seen over 120 of the most popular bands in that era.

Sex and drugs and Rock&Roll that's what is was all about and we lived it to the fullest.

Maybe a little to full now that I think back.
