I suppose for the same reason you feel the need to reply as you do:biggrin2:
I hear so much about Turmeric and have yet to try it. Lemons I love. I wonder if it makes a difference they are usually in my drinks as opposed to warm water?
I usually buy ReaLemon, those little plastic things and learned today they aren't as good as the real thing.
I hate when that happens.
Turmeric is great to add to teas and smoothies. When you do, add a little black pepper or oil, such as coconut oil, as it needs either or, for the body to absorb it
I'm not sure about the warm water in lemon vs just adding a wedge or slice to a drink, something for me to look up, either way I'd think both are good![]()
How much is lost? I'd be okay if I'm getting 50% of the benefits as long as they are still healthy. It is a concentrate and so much is lost in the process.

They have to add stabilizers to it so it can sit on a shelf.
When you use fresh Lemons and Limes, particularly the ZEST.
You get the natural oils from the fruit. That is what you want.
When you slow boil a Lemon or a lime you not only infuse the juice but also the oils.
Re:When you slow boil a Lemon or a lime you not only infuse the juice but also the oils....gotta try this. Thanks.

How much is lost when a lemon is concentrated?
7 to 10 minutes is all it takes on a low boil.
1/4 cup of water per fruit.is what you want but that is next to impossible.
Papa I haven't seen your physique but I'm sure you eat well to and built like a short greek God!:biggrin2:
Maybe Cristy knows?.
For that I suggest you check with the manufacturer.
They are required to provide that research info on request.

I'd rather discuss this with her than with the ReaLemon corporation who would probably lie to keep my business.
Is there a Consumer Reports article on ReaLemon juice? I trust their partisan fact checking over the guys who are trying to sell a product. When you want facts you should ask those who possess them.
