Its hysterically funny (in a sick way) that this hugely expensive AMERICAN legislation accomplished dick, in the 2007- ongoing worldwide financial crisis.:grrrrrr:

It IS true that Canadian subs of American firms and some with customer contact with Americas got stuck complying. Thats a business decision that has nothing to do with Canadian legislation.

What the USA (and Canada) needed was ENFORCEMENT, not more bullshit rules.
