TDL... WTF?!

Now, just to keep you up to date fellas...

and because this little forum is to keep us informed and not only help us know about the good... but also about the bad and the ugly:


After I chat in person with Don... nada. Never heard back from him or the booker as he said it would happen to re-arrange a (cost) session.

Waited and touched base with him via email and text message... nada. NO response. Waited a bit... sent another email and another text message (both to addresses and numbers of his')... and not a reply, he totally ignored me. This being said... I don't think I'll be booking with TDL anymore. Sadly.

That's not right strumm. Sorry you went through that. They should handle there clients well, and honour their commitments
 
That behaviour is not excusable, whatever the reason as calls and messages are still being answered for bookings.
 
Yes how quickly they have fallen, less than 6 months ago they were on top. You know if Liz was still running the show this would have been handled so differently. Its a shame really.
 
Sympathize with you man. Been there, sadly more than once. BS is right on. Cannot count how many times when I am told a line about 'oh she's called in sick' or 'she's not coming in today'. Only to find out later from the girl that she was working that day. Likely fully booked or an available spot was given preferentially. I wish SOMEONE tells the truth.
 
I booked Kendall today. Confirmed in the morning with location. I drive to the airport location and arrived 30mins early. I always like to arrive at the location early rather than rush. My plan was to chill until 5min then text that I'm at the location.

Once I parked my car, I received the dreaded text from TDL "Kendall cancelled for the day can i book you with izabella". This was sent to me about 1 hour before the scheduled appointment. I was on the road already so didn't read the text until I arrived at the location.

My first thought was "fuck!". Then my second thought was "no I don't want izabella".

So I responded saying "damn I just got here. I was on the road when you sent the text"

TDL response "so sorry, izabella can see you now."

Huh? I didn't book izabella, but she's ready to see me? Lol. I was a little pissed off that there was no offer of a small discount as a gesture of how sorry they are for the late cancellation. I know that agencies can't control the girl's schedules, but that's the responsibility and risk of the agency. Plus, I know that TDL penalizes the girls a cash amount for canceling the day, so a small discount won't hurt their bottom line.

I responded and said "I'll pass on Izabella". And then waited to see if they got the hint that I was not pleased. Yes, a little passive aggressive on my part.

They responded "i do apologize for the late notice".

So now I'm testing to see if TDL can respond accordingly with a little nudge. I text back "Understandable. Any discount for next time?"

TDL response "I will see what I can do for you". Hmmmm...sounds like a brush off, so I responded "Thanks, let me know what Don says".

No follow up texts after that, but my last text was meant for the booker to know that I'm waiting for a response from Don.

I will give it a few days to see if there's any follow-up. If not, I will remind the booker of the outstanding situation. If nothing, then this is going to the presses. Watch for it on CNN.

Guys, am I over reacting here? If so, let me know and I'll retire from this hobby (no not really). But seriously, appreciate any thoughts.
 
Kirk, you're not over reacting at all. Thanks for sharing your frustrating experience. IMHO, you're certainly entitled to a discount, on your next TDL session.
 
TDL needs to understand that you're not some guy who loves next door taking an hour out of your lunch for some pussy. I would email or see if you can talk to Don about your repeat let downs with only his agency. It might be an opportunity for him to understand that they need to give you more notice and improve their customer service compensation game if they value your business. There's plenty of choice out there.

I agree with Lavarock.

Something like this happened to once with Mirage. Confirmed the morning of, got to the location Downtown only to be told that the girl I was supposed to see was AWOL. They were very apologetic and gave me the option of seeing another girl who was at the same location, or to get a discount on my next call with them. I chose to see the girl (Holly, now Abby @ Eye Candy), yet they still gave me a small discount ($50 off).

To me, that's the proper way of handling things.
 
Update:

I didn't hear back from TDL, so reached out with a text "Were you able to get me a discount for the late cancellation inconvenience?"

The response was just "20 off your next booking or 40 min for $140".

Ok, so they came through with the discount, but not after prodding and it didn't seem like they wanted to do that. Anyway, it is what it is.

Other agencies like RM, Hush (in my experience) and other's you guys have mentioned offered it up without being asked and did it on a proactive basis. Just my 2c.
 
sorry to hear about what happen strummer hope don will make it up to in some form or manner I do know women have sometimes internal issues which may include the red stuff but its not always a period .may be was a false alarm anyways w will see u soon
 
Had something similar happen with TGF recently. Had booked Rachel for 90 min, she was supposed to be out at airport. I confirmed on the morning of and was told location and to call when I got there.
I get there early and am sitting in the bar sipping on a drink when I get a call from TGF saying Rachel wasn't feeling well and she wasn't going to be there. They apologized profusely, knowing I was already at the location as I had texted I was early and waiting for final instructions but no rush, when the lady is ready I'm here. They tried to make it up to me by offering up Sasha - whom I have been dying to see as well - but she was DT and seeing as I was up at the airport, no way I was gonig to make it DT for the time available. No one else of interest was available to me at airport and when I asked if there was anything else they could do for me, no offer of discount on next booking was made. Now, I didn't press it or come right out and ask for it but like has already been mentioned, it's only good business to offer a discount on any future sessions.

I totally understand that shit happens, life gets in the way, we all have bad days and i'm sure we would all rather have a lady at the top of her game than someone who is not feeling well/into it showing up because the agency doesn't want to compensate a cancellation/no show.

At this point, I'm wiling to give TGF another chance, simply because they have two ladies I'm interested in seeing again.. but I might be reluctant to book extended time as a result
