Prices have increased which means that production (advancement) has trailed currency introductions. Therefore, we aren't improving things or getting more prosperous, regardless of how much technology we are incorporating into our lives.

It doesn't matter if Google can tell me the last time it rained for 12 hours straight. If we are working longer hours for the things we need and want, we aren't ahead of the game.

If beef (food) has increased by 30% over the past 4 years (it has as you can see in the grocery stores), no amount of Google technology is going to make that better.

The biggest problem I see with young people today is an inability to solve problems. They all just quickly throw their hands up in the air and ask someone else to provide a solution.

Yep, critical thinking is a valuable life skill they should all be learning.
