First, I agree with
Jasper about
Forrest Gump, (1994). The theme of the film is a Right Wing fantasy that any idiot can be successful and rich if he follows orders, and if he obtains a monopoly on a commodity.
Gump was a great soldier, because he did exactly what he was told, without questioning why he was doing what was ordered to do. His shrimp business was unsuccessful, until all of his competition was eliminated. Individuals who had ideas different than the prevaling norm were all assassinated, or died of AIDS.
