Theoretical Dating Question

As the theoretical 21-year-old (I'm actually 24), dating my age has never interested me and I rarely/never get attention from the types I would want a long-term relationship with. I want someone who can teach me things, who has ambitions and goals besides playing the newest video game and who has been exciting places they're willing to share with me. Bonus points for extra languages, obscure academic interests and a career they're absolutely passionate about, but open-minded both as a person and sexually necessary.

I don't care about computer/video games, have time for TV, or like extravagant nights out; I'm interested in current events, lively conversation and trying new things. I don't ever want kids and I prefer to have less time/attention than someone my age would give me, so a busy work/extracurricular schedule works well for me and tbh a lot of men my age are still figuring what type of beer they like, much less who they are, what they want and how to get there.

I consistently get labelled as a gold digger for my interests in older, smart and ambitious, but money has little-nothing to do with it (except as a sometimes by-product of the traits I like). At this point in my life, I only meet people I'm interested in through "work". I don't think age-related concerns are big ones at all, I think lifestyles, interest and chemistry matter.


[Cliffnotes: Yes!!! I would date 42 but it seems the vast majority in that age bracket (35-55) would not date that young.]

I've done it. Mind you I was in my late 30's and she was 18 - well that's what she told me. 5 years later she told me she was actually 17 at the time. We're still friends and she told me that it was all a great learning experience for her. almost 10 years later now we are great friends and even her husband likes me. And yes he knows.
By the way just to add to the creepy factor it turned out that her mom had a huge crush on me in high school. Yes her mom was younger than me.
