Three 13-year-old boys charged with assault in school bullying attack

The school has dealt with the three charged students “for severe behaviour” in the past.

Looks like our next three future killers.

''Let me assure you that this incident did not involve drugs or weapons and that no one was injured,” she wrote.

Let me assure her that if the victim was choked to the point of being semi unconscious then someone was injured.

If I was the young ladies dad, there would be 3 young lads chocked within an inch of their petty lives. Yes I would also be arrested and charged but I would sit in prison with a smile on my face.

The victim was a boy not that it really matters I guess.

Do you notice that bullies don't bother you if you have a big brother or big friends. Fluckin cowards.

Bullying is a MUCH bigger problem than people ever talk about.

The schools "SAY" they have zero tolerance, but for the most part this is merely "lip service" so they can look good in the media.

Keep in mind schools alone cannot solve bullying. We have to look at the families, media, the schools and the children themselves before we can confront and solve this awful issue. secondly, many of these bullies have low self esteem issues....thus should we blame them on the parents? schools? media? etc...

Quit sucking the tits of the bullies and remember you can punish them

if the schools say we will not put up with this then it will stop

by all means, punish them...but bullies had help...and what about them....

well do you ever notice many of the bullies dont stop after being punished....like i said before you have to get to the root of this problem. As of now I cant see it happening as this society is about instant gratification and too busy seeking power and wealth.

fyi, I despise bullies....

Put stocks in front of the school and lock the little bastards in them for one week during school time

BTW if you coddle them you love them

Here's where you are wrong... Just "saying" they will not put up with it means NOTHING, if they don't ACT on what they say. MANDATORY and IMMEDIATE suspension is a good start. Followed by PUBLIC outing of the perpetrator. But alas, this will never happen, at least not in Canada. (Or maybe Ontario)

A couple years ago, my son was a victim bullying. His best friend at the time, (he has since moved away) and he, were being bullied because the friend's mother was a known lesbian. It had been going on for quite some time.... On this particular day, the bullies were really giving my son's friend a shellacking so my son came to his defense. The boys all got in a tussle and they were all marched down to the principals office. I got a phone call and the principal could tell me VERY little about what happened because of some Protection of Privacy BS act! He told me the other boys were all suspended for 1 day. 1 day???? I said, lemme have the kids name, so I can speak to his parents. He tells me, I'm sorry, I can't give you that information, but he "assures" me the parents were given a stern talking to! (Ya right!)

2 Days later the SAME kids are doing EXACTLY the SAME thing.

So I speak to my son, get the info I needed and went and spoke to the parents myself. It was like speaking to a brick wall of course, but in that conversation, I threatened REAL PUBLIC legal action if it ever happened again!

It stopped.

As you might expect my being 6 inches tall and blue I was bullied.

No longer do I accept it as kids will be kids.

good for you CG...fortunately those parents took your legal threats seriously. Unfortunately many of them dont care as some understand/recognize that the legal process for this kind of issue is veryyyyyyyyy difficult, time consuming and expensive.

again, schools alone cant solve this matter without getting other parties involved. In this case, CG got involved.

Ps. Keep in mind, principals can only do so much as their boards/supervisors tell them that they can only do certain things. This doesnt mean I am protecting these bullies. If I were a principal, I would suspend them for a long time (or expel them) to demonstrate my motto:ZERO tolerance for bullying.

pss. again I despise bullying.

those bullies' parents didnt even give a rat ("It was like speaking to a brick wall of course") when CG expressed his concerns to them.....in my books, they are bulllies too...

I don't believe for a second, the parents cared about the Legal warning at all... it was the PUBLIC part that got action.
