I feel bad for them. Having their lives destroyed so publicly like that, and the sheer hypocrisy of the commentator, judge, reporter and people on the streets.

It smacks of pure NIMBYism. If you peeled back the onion a bit, you'd likely find the sex industry in Coral Gables is just as prolific as anywhere else, but because it's largely a wealthy area, most sex workers and their patrons take more care to ensure discretion.

These were just inexperienced kids lured by the promise of easy money. Easy for police and the publicly elected justice to hold up for a self-serving photo-op.

Yes the clients will be protected but these poor girls lives are ruined. The US is so hypocritical. They're all about free choice about everything. And they rise up in arms at the slightest hint that someone can take away their freedom of choice. But what about the most basic choice of doing what you want with your own life?
