You all should be ashamed of yourselves!! This thread is about the women's march, and nothing was mentioned about hating Trump! It was stated the march is a rally against Trump, which apparently incensed the Trump loving Papa. Obviously this march, which was covered by most news media was worthy enough and thought important enough for hundreds and hundreds of thousands of people, all over the world. But yet, Escape, Papa and Maurice are incensed by me mentioning it.:Crying2:..

Funky & Music:-Cool/" Those queries should keep you busy, since the numbers in many cities amassed hundreds of thousands, and the cities were from one end of the globe to the other:biggrin2:

First of all, papa didn't address his comment to you, and I interpreted it to mean he was saying it about protesters in general. He's been here long enough to know how to quote you if he's responding to you directly, and he doesn't typically address the women here like that. You're very quick to assume people are targeting you when they're not, I've noticed that before.

Look at how you responded to papa's post, along with your original post about the rally being anti Trump and your continued use of the derogatory nickname you've given Trump, then tell me this has nothing to do with hating Trump.

Yet when someone ridicules someone he obviously admires, supports, or whatever, you become aggravated and feel you have the right to discipline me for doing so, like I'm some child! Why is it alright for either of you to act in a way, yet others can't? Please, until you become perfect, don't correct me. I've shown respect for you and your posts in the past, and I have often ignored what either of you say sometimes that I find bothersome or inappropriate, because I don't feel I've the right to say what is allowed or not allowed here, or that I've the right to discipline you when you post in a way that I don't agree with. The only angry people in this thread seem to be you and Papa. My answer to Polaris was appropriate and polite, seeing again the emicons used, apparently you missed that, he asks a question then contradicts himself by posting an emicon that symbolizes, I don't want to see/know.
I unlike you, don't like to speak for other people He wants to know why "those people" were marching so he should ask those people!!....if he wants to know why I went, then he should ask me, and ask without using emicons that represent "wacko's" or "I don't want to see" !!!

From everything I have heard and read about yesterdays "March" it was a peaceful protest, for the most part.Only complaints I heard was language based...... There was a large number of children there........ Some of the speeches were vulgar............As were some of the signs..........The reason I used "March" is because the crowd was so large that is was impossible to have a march.

With a few recent exceptions, yes, my responses have been engaging and friendly. If I do comment, I usually try to express my opinion without attacking you or criticizing your opinions. I've tried to be your friend and support you here, and I've deliberately avoided getting into confrontations with you because I can't handle the stress.

I did not ridicule it.......I was repeating what the organizers said.

The turn out was huge, in fact so large the "march" could not be done...It was more like a pedestrian shuffle.

cristy - this is a community, not a competition. It's a community of fun, friendly people who have tried their hardest to make you feel accepted and comfortable here.

I'm sorry if papa or myself come across like we think we own the place (we don't). We're just two online friends who cheerfully donate thousands of hours of our time participating here, to do our little part in helping the HUBGFE community be successful.

Every community has leaders, and I've been a leader more than a follower in just about everything I've ever been involved with. I'm also a natural born teacher, so a lot of what I do is in teacher mode. Sorry if that offends you too.

I still like you and I'm glad you're here.
