It is about time. Christycurves' true colours will inevitably appear but I saw them clearly beforehand. When she called Peace a BULLY, something was odd. I received a lot of flaks for pointing this out. Even when IFYoUSEEKAMY POINTED this out when there was no reason to attack others as it would discourage others from participating here. The question of what those people who were marching wanted, is a serious question.

Remember what the Occupy Wall Street protester wanted? They did not know what they wanted.

The "deploables" as labelled by the Hillarator, they did not know what they wanted. They had a vague idea, but on specifics they had no clue. Therefore they voted Trump.

There's another big crowd marching yesterday. Seems like they had no idea either. People were marching for different reasons.

Those marchers, are they going to be a force, such as the "deplorables" who voted Trump, or are they going to be irrelevant like the Occupy Wall Street crowd.

If they do not know what they want, and be more specific, which was the big weakness of the occupy movement, then they will wind up like the occupy movement.

Brexit, Trump, coming elections in Europe of leading canadidates like Le Pen's daughter, and our own preimere Wynne with popularity almost at single digits, the world of liberal democracy lurching to the hard right.

It could have went the other way, like how they voted in Greece, but it has gone hard right.

The icons I like. It reflects my mood on Canadian society.

@Polaris-Thanks....I think Although I don't always rant, :wink2: My response to your question was also a serious one. I can't tell you why all who marched, marched. I can assume by many of the signs, and online posts, that some marched to send a message that if some of the enacted laws concerning women's rights are broken, action will be taken, others marched to be supportive of the march, some because they're anti Trump, others marched in support of the enviroment, etc. The reasons are obviously many and varied. I took part because I'm pro environment, pro animals, and I'm against anything and anyone who threatens either. Diaperdon, is known to be anti climate change, anti environment and obviously by his cabinet choices, all about lobbyists and big oil, guess he drained the swamp right into his own cabinet, lol. As far as the Occupy wall street that you speak of, that's not something I followed so I can't comment to it. Hope I answered your question

cristy - this is a community, not a competition. It's a community of fun, friendly people who have tried their hardest to make you feel accepted and comfortable here.

I'm sorry if papa or myself come across like we think we own the place (we don't). We're just two online friends who cheerfully donate thousands of hours of our time participating here, to do our little part in helping the HUBGFE community be successful.

Every community has leaders, and I've been a leader more than a follower in just about everything I've ever been involved with. I'm also a natural born teacher, so a lot of what I do is in teacher mode. Sorry if that offends you too.

I wasn't aware anyone was competing, that's good to know, although I don't perceive anyone here to be leaders, followers, anyone or anything other than, people participating on a escort forum, and all equal. I didn't think there was a perceived pecking order.
In my time here there have been a few who've been rude and even callous towards me, and too some others, and yet at no time did you feel the need to be lecturous, or teacher like, towards any of them.Which again I find odd.
I don't think anyone here is faultless enough to take on the role of someone who tells another how they should behave, as you've done, with me.
This thread was started to speak about the women's march, and in it's inception, both yours and Papa's initial posts were rude and unfriendly. Yet once again, you find that alright and turn the coin. Once again, I querried you as to why you've never chided Papa about his consistent denigrating posts about Hilary, the liberals, and other things his disagrees with, once again, you didn't respond, just turned the coin. You can't dislike and point out a behavior to be wrong in one and ignore it in another, well physically you can, but it is wrong and obviously hypocritical to do so. That is a behavior within you, you need to fix.
Whether or not you or anyone likes me, is a choice, and all of you are entitled to that choice, that won't cause me to post or not to post. I'm grateful to those who've shown me respect and patience, but please know, I don't need someone to point to my flaws, I'm aware of all of them. Instead, I think it's best you and a few others, fix your own.You see, I think it best for those who are going to tell someone how to behave, to be an example, to be without the same behavior they're pointing to. It is fine to say, "you don't like something I say", but don't tell me how to say it, unless you're going to tell everyone how they should speak........... After all, I'm fairly typical in how I respond.
