Hope your Job is not Air Traffic Controller.
As a matter of fact I am. I'm also a travel agent on the side.

Right now I'm offering cheap $49 flights to Florida.
Only catch is you have to fly on days where I work as Air Traffic Controller.

Do we have a deal?? :)

Who cares!!! One day and it's over. March, spring and short shorts is just around the corner!

I did not know Air Traffic Controllers are blind and deaf.
Still waiting for the damn thing.

So is it as bad as they said it would be?

I looked at the toronto compass/rescu cams and it looks like a normal snowy day up here.....

Has the army been called yet? lol.....

Its almost 5:00 am and blowing here in P'boro... not a lot of snow yet, but the wind is strong enough that you want to cover your face.

I was out in it long enough to move my truck for the snow plow guy, and I'm happy to be inside. But its not as bad as some blizzards I've seen as a young lad growing up in Saskatchewan.

Maybe it will get worse!

So far... much ado about nothing... in Tri-City area anyways...

Once again, the media blows an average story into something much bigger than it is...

This is Canada folks, and in Canada it snows and gets cold in February! Deal with it.

I figure we got about 6-8 inches close to the lake in Toronto. Big fucking deal!

Where's the kids who want to earn a few bucks shoveling my sidewalk? I haven't seen anyone do this in the last 20 years, the lazy coddled fuckers probably get $500 as a weekly allowance from their parents.

Who the fuck's going to dig for the groundhog and yank him out of his hole? :666:

Hmmm they cancelled our schools with a 6am phone call to parents.
I hate when the phone rings in the middle of the night, I always think its bad news, usually a drunken wrong number.

Kinda the s-NO-w storm around here tho. Certainly not worth all the media hype, had to get milk yeasterday and I swear the store was way busier than usual-people must have been stocking the shelves for 40 days and 40 nights or something...thanks media lol

LOL kind of what I figured.....we got about 6" up here too with more expected today...so all in all an average snowfall..........

Someone in FB posted about how bad bad bad it was going to be and knowing me, I gave a retort saying just deal with it and don't drive if it's so bad. Well, let me tell YOU the insults started flying fast and furious lol......to the point where I am no longer their "friend" lol...oh boo hoo hoo how ever shall I deal with the loss? Where's the straight razor...I know it's around here SOMEwhere lol.....

I like that line scotty: the s-NO-w storm lol..that's good...if I use it I'll pay you a royalty...(another wooden nickel).

I don't know so much that it's global warming per se, but us screwing up the environment that is more the result. It's the unpredictable weather that is the result of our practices.

I think I read somewhere that this is the first time that all 50 states have had snow? (or something like that).

Oh, just an FYI, global warming doesn't mean the entire planet is going to be warmer, the shift in temps is going to make some places colder. For example: a state that doesn't normally get snow, when that snow falls the heat via sunlight is reflected back into space therefore making the area colder than normal.

A good movie to watch is "The day after tomorrow". It gives a good example of the shifting of climate zones.....
