Video of a man being dragged out of his seat on a United Airlines flight has sparked social media uproar. The airline insisted the flight was over-booked and that it had no choice but to contact authorities when the man refused to leave.(THE ASSOCIATED PRESS )

agree with you on this TC but it should be also pointed out that it was "airport police" that dragged him out not United employee's
And it should be emphasized that this was done to make room for United employee's NOT that the plane was over booked as United usually does

I hope in a years time the United employee's get introduced to the new owner

Any race would say this is discriminatory. Jesus, if he was black BLM would've rioted.

It's ridic but the chinese have a way with sensationalizing thing kind of thing because deep down, they don't trust whitey....or blackie or brownie for that matter. Hell, they don't even trust their own race when it comes down to it.

What Unitied might not realize is the consumer backlash which could put them out of business, and I hope it does. A lot of my team flies in from the US and they use United and the inside gossip is to not book with them anymore. They've told me horror stories that never really seemed to matter about their flights with United. It all seems relevant now. Not official company policy but the water cooler talk is "Don't book United going forward......ever."

I dont think this was a race thing, apparently it was the computer that chose who stays and who goes. Families and children traveling alone were given priority. I think its horrific that paying passengers had to give up their seats for airline staff.

United could have chosen to not overbook the flight. Travelers could chose a different airline. The deadhead could have played flight attendant, and handed out peanuts and pillows. Some suit who already qualifies for full pension will have to fall on his sword for this. I'm glad I don't own any United stock. This is as bad as Jarrod was for Subway. There's no excuse for that sort of unprofessional-ism.

What the footage probably doesn't show or what people don't want to show is his meltdown before he was forcibly removed. His reaction alone gave me suspicion that he was not stable. He was clearly putting on a show as he being dragged out and making like he was unconscious but he was still gripping his phone while being held at the wrist; anyone who's been educated on self defense will tell you that a tight grip on the wrist will normally disable the grip in your hands and or, it would take considerable effort from that person to keep the clasp.

THEN the post video of the victim coming back aboard and acting out with "I have to go home, I have to go home...." is also telling of his mental stability.

Does that justify the force that was used? No, but who's to say this "Doctor" would not have escalated while in the air...?

I think both parties were at fault to some degree. United Airlines will be the only one to suffer. Who's to say they will survive this. It might be the death of United.
