Think with your big head, not your little head. Go into every session with eyes open, and be VERY selective about who you choose to court. Please ladies and gentlemen note that "status", title, nor reviews, can determine whether or not a provider will or will not have an std , nor do they mean one provider over another is safer to see regarding std's. Well in this industry, not only do i have to worry about my health and safety, but also the health and safety of my clients. I wouldn't want to potentially catch something and then give it to a client who then goes home and gives it to his wife or something. It doesn't respond to any form of treatment and can cause infertility in women as well as blindness in unborn children, I couldn't live with myself if I potentially cause something like that.

A man in the UK (who remains anonymous, for obvious reasons) contracted the superbug after a sexual encounter with a woman in South East Asia, BBC reported.


Unluckily for him, the infection cannot be cured with first-choice antibiotics. The main treatment—a combination of azithromycin and ceftriaxone—failed to alleviate the situation.
“This is the first time a case has displayed such high-level resistance to both of these drugs and to most other commonly used antibiotics,” according to Gwenda Hughes, consultant scientist and head of Sexually Transmitted Infection section at Public Health England (PHE).
The unfortunate chap, who has (had?) a regular partner in the UK, purportedly picked up the disease earlier this year. He is currently being treated with an unnamed antibiotic that may be his only hope.


So far, no other cases of this super virus have yet been reported.


For those who missed their high school sex-ed classes: The disease, caused by the bacterium Neisseria gonorrhoeae, is spread via unprotected vaginal, oral, and anal sex. About one in 10 cases do not present recognizable symptoms, which can include a thick green or yellow discharge from sexual organs, pain when urinating, and bleeding between periods.
A nasty infection for anyone, complications of gonorrhoea disproportionately affect women, who have an increased risk of pelvic inflammatory disease, ectopic pregnancy and infertility, and HIV.


Scientists have been keeping a close eye on particularly rebellious strains of the condition for a while; the World Health Organization in July announced that antibiotic resistance is making gonorrhoea harder, sometimes even impossible, to treat.
“The bacteria that cause gonorrhoea are particularly smart,” Teodora Wi, a medical officer at WHO’s Department of Reproductive Health and Research, said in a statement last year. “Every time we use a new class of antibiotics to treat the infection, the bacteria evolve to resist them.”
That’s not exactly what you want to hear about a virus that reaches some of the most sensitive areas of the human body.

Swingers At Higher STD Risk Than Prostitutes

Scientists studying swingers say that they have higher rates of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) than prostitutes.
Dutch researchers said that older swingers are particularly vulnerable and yet this group is largely ignored by healthcare services.

The scientists wrote in the journal Sexually Transmitted Infections that there was a risk that swingers could act as an STI "transmission bridge to the entire population.""Although exact estimates are unavailable, the swingers' population is probably large," wrote Anne-Marie Niekamp, who worked on the study with colleagues from Maastricht University.

The researchers analyzed the numbers of patients seeking treatment in 2007 and 2008 at three sexual health clinics in South Limburg in the Netherlands.

The clinics have recorded whether a patient is a swinger since the start of 2007, in an attempt to track infection rates among this group. Estimates say that the swinger population could include many millions across the world.
Scientists studied just under 9,000 consultations at three clinics that took place. One in nine of the patients was a swinger, with an average age of 43.

They found that combined rates of Chlamydia and gonorrhea were just over 10 percent among straight people, 14 percent among gay men, just under 5 percent in female prostitution, and 10.4 percent among swingers. Female swingers had higher infections rates than male swingers.

One in 10 older swingers had Chlamydia and about one in 20 had gonorrhea.

Chlamydia is most commonly found in women and 70 percent of cases show no symptoms. The bacterial infection leads to pelvic inflammatory disease, ectopic pregnancy and infertility. Gonorrhea is another bacterial infection that can lead to infertility if left untreated.
Niekamp said that young straight people, gay men and prostitutes were relatively easy for healthcare service to identify and target for advice and help, but swingers were generally a hidden community.

"That makes them very hard to reach," she said in a telephone interview with Reuters. "Because they are so hidden and in some ways also stigmatized, it is hard for them to come forward for STI testing and treatment."
