Urgent questions - should I be worried?

So this Thursday I had a time with an SP, and the agency I went with was a reputable one (Dreammakers, RM, etc.). I performed digits, and DATY, and I'd say, it was the first time I did DATY. I had a fun time, and the girl was hot.

After I left, right when I got home I noticed a small crack on my mouth, and a small laceration on my index finger. The laceration was small with no bleeding, but it was red, and it had a little scar. I didn't know I had the laceration until I got back since I barely felt it; however, the winter air made the laceration slightly more painful. The mouth crack was formed due to winter dryness after I got back.

So overall, you may say that I got some of the girl's vaginal fluid on my index finger laceration, and on my mouth crack.

Two questions:

1) If an SP is tested positive for STD, is she still allowed to work in the industry?

2) Assuming that she does have STD. How much should I be worried about STD transmission?

3) After doing digits, I wiped with hand sanitizer almost immediately. Assuming that she does have STD, how much would the sanitizer have reduced the transmission?

Thanks.

Dude I think you should find a new hobby. Being paranoid so much takes away of the fun you can have with the sp.

Of course not. I have been hobbying for many years and have friends that also do. Not once have I heard that any of them got anything so don't worry sleep tight.

Zero.

If I were you i would drive to the walk in clinic NOW...Run dude....

Just kidding :music:

Dude, if I have a cold sore or a fresh wound I do not hobby. You should be fine especially since you weren't aware of your cuts I'm assuming they were not open cuts.

You are okay.

Regardless, take some time off, get yourself checked, and wait until you get the results until you get back.

I get checked EVERY 6 months, so should everybody.

If you have never been tested, why would you assume that you are the one in danger from your cuts? The responsible thing is to get tested before you expose the sps to anything you might already have, rather than assuming that after seeing one she gave it (if anything) to you.

Even with these cuts, your risks for those activities are still fairly low. Not zero, as mentioned, but low. Hand sanitizers will not cure STDs, fwiw. You can't wash that stuff away.

Now this is Guido crying on a beach and Peace coming in whistling. I thought for sure the whistling smilie was going to hug the palm trees on the end.:rofl1:

Gom you are over thinking it dude. As A1 said go get yourself checked for peace of mind and then decide if the hobby is worth the risks.

You're fine Gom. I wouldn't worry about it at all. You'd have to be extremely unlucky to contract something under these circumstances.

I've got permanent cracks in my tongue.LOL

GOM - You are likely fine.

Like you I am a little paranoid (perhaps I should find a safer hobby) - no symptoms but think I may have caught something. Go to the doctors office and get tested. It makes me feel better when the test results come back.

In addition, if you are going to be active in this game you should get tested once or twice a year. I usually go to a walk-in-medical-clinic to get tested - there is one in First Canadian Place. They take a urine and a blood sample - no big deal. It usually takes two weeks to get the results back.
