So I was dating this YL when I was in my mid 30s and she called me up one afternoon on a day when we were supposed to get together that night.

She said she couldn't see me, she was too upset about this person who committed suicide. I was concerned, I knew most of her friends and family.

She said the persons name and I said "umm who is that"?

She said: it was her sister's next door neighbour's cousin's friend. I said "huh, where did you meet this person"?

She said: Oh I never met him.....

What the.......Did your sister ever meet him?

No.

I then went on to try and figure out exactly why she was upset.......and it didn't go over well when a few weeks later there was a news report in the paper about some kid in california who committed suicide over some girl. I said to her when we were reading the paper at tim horton's "oh shit, look at this" then as she was reading the story I said "I guess that means I have to take you home now..." SMACK........lol......

^^^^ one trick I learned a long time ago during a time management course was to: only handle a piece of paper once. For eg: if you get your insurance bill in the mail, pay it right away via online banking then file it. Don't put it in a pile to be "done at a future date".......
