What ever happened to not revealing your handle when you book a provider.

More and more I see through boards that many book through their handles. Wasn't this taboo for obvious reasons?.

Doesn't this make the provider nervous that she has to be at her best to make sure she gets a good review even if she is having a bad day?.

A provider can feel more comfortable in knowing what type a person she is dealing with based on the review style and posts of the individual.

We don't know you. At all. You are a stranger to us, We invite you in our private condo, our hotel rooms, without knowing who you are expect for an email/phone number etc.
Having a reference or requesting a board handle mean that we have often a lil bit more information on you. I can read your reviews and posts, see what's your personality and how you like things in encounters. I can also see if some SP thank you in their reviews for the wonderful time they had with you or things like that.

I am sure that the guy that killed the escort in Hamilton a few days ago said "he was a good guy"...

Buckfity (or whatever handle) doesn't reveal your real name, address and etc. However it does give us a glimpse in your personality that can make us feel more at ease when meeting you for the first time.

I can respect that but how did you all survive before review boards?.

I always give my handle if booking a Lady from the board
or from twitter
I've had some Lady's say they looked me up and knew I was a nice guy from my posts.

So the fight club is gone for a good thing.

Safety for the ladies.

How many threaten you they will write a bad review if you don't do A or B?.

Back then guys *had* to give their actual names-first and last because that's how you'd verify their hotel room or address. No verification of them being at a particular locale and that locale being actual, then they'd get no service. I still don't rely on review boards for establishing my clients viability. I use other methods.
Lesson learned..... anyone who shy's away from giving me his identity has a reason behind it, a nefarious reason, it is *only* those clients I've had issues with, issues like no shows, cancellations, and other games. So if you don't want me to know who you are then good:)

I just tell them I'm Cardinal Fang and I've never had a problem. He has a MUCH better reputation than most of us out there.

I'm in my mid 20,s

ive only ever advertise online.

20 years ago you would book by your home phone. Which can be search in a phone book. Most agency I think would take bookings by cc by phone

When I worked at an Agency about 11 years ago, guys usually gave their real name (needed to verify room at hotel) address (needed for outcall) and credit card number (usual method of payment) without hesitation, because that's the way things were done before online advertising.

Times have changed ...

Considering all the stigma ,BillC36 how can you expect a guy to give you his full identity. I'm sorry but any gentleman that is willing to take that chance in today's environment needs to have his head examined.

I respect the privacy of the provider and would expect mine respected as well.

I don't know, when I used the name Cardinal Fang when booking online the sp assumed I would a Golden Shower and warned that that would cost me extra this time.

I tell them my name is Morpheus, a bad giveaway once they want to twitter me :Crying2:

I would like to think that if a provider were having a bad day, they would let their date know ahead of time and postpone, regardless if they knew their board handle or not.

As for being pressured into "performing at a certain level", the people who do that tend to say "I'm a board member" and leave it hanging at that and NOT reveal their handles. In my experience, the ones who prefer not to reveal their board identities for discretionary reasons, tastefully never bring the subject up.

Since PCEPA, I have found an increase in how many details a person voluntarily reveals to me about themselves before a date. I have always relied on my gut instincts when choosing whether to meet somebody or not, and I will always continue to do so. I prefer engaging through email or online contact of some sort so that I get a sense for them before I choose to meet. What someone says and how they say it and what they don't say, reveals so much about their personalities to me.

I also use Cardinal Fang and ask if they have a Amish Midget sister.

I am surprised noone is using bob aka bobistheowl as he has the secrets to his famous TECHNIQUE.

Not at all. I am never nervous or worried about a review. Whether you are a regular, a newbie, a reviewer or a lurker you get the same service from me, provided you are a gentlemen. What I really detest is guys trying to book acting sketchy and suspicious refusing to tell you where they saw your ad, or who they are thinking we are out to get them and are going to somehow inconvenience them later on by knowing their name or forum handle. There are SO many crazy harassers out there fake booking us from review boards, girls fake booking other girls, time wasters and trolls we have to deal with. Guys might automatically think the wrong thing when we ask for a handle, it's just to know you're a real person and double check you aren't the troll who has been harassing us on the review board or the type of guy that only slams every girl he reviews. It also helps me when seeing if we are a good fit, for instance if a member only wants hardcore porn star or BDSM type sessions, I could glean that from their posts and kindly suggest I am not the lady for them and ask if they are certain they want to see me.

I would absolutely book someone who was kind and courteous in their request, even if he negatively reviewed a lady or a few, or didn't review at all. I don't care about that. I care about safety first, and then being respected. I also offer a special member price on the hour, so if someone wants that offer they should not be afraid to mention their handle and prove they are a participating board member and not just someone pretending they have a handle.

If you're the type of guy who is actually suspicious that a reputable lady is going to get you in trouble with your spouse, coworkers or LE you need to think if you're just being paranoid, or perhaps you should be more selective about who you see and how you treat the ladies. How many good clients have been outted to their spouses or LE by reputable SPs in Canada? That's bad business and unnecessary. Anyone acting THAT suspicious and afraid of US, sends the message to me that they aren't safe and aren't likely to respect me and my boundaries and not cause problems coming to my private condo. I find the type of guys who act super afraid of us and sharing their identity are totally fine seeing girls working out of motels known to be an LE hot spot and this makes me think they should get their priorities straight.

I'm also guessing if you don't want to reveal your board handle you would miss out on some great HUBGFE parties and meeting a lot of the ladies in person for meet and greets, which would be unfortunate as the last party was amazing.

Are verification sites even considered in Canada? P411 seems to be the main one here in the states. Having a reliable 3rd party that can confirm that someone is who they say they are without the guy having to give his info out every time seems to make sense. I've come close to signing up but haven't pulled the trigger.

P411 does require a paid membership, they do verify you are who you say you are, which is great. But I don't know many Toronto ladies that would accept a P411 member number with zero personal info or zero references. Providers are able to give P411 members an OK for their profile, if the client asks after the appointment. But we still need to know you are SAFE from another provider or receive some other info about yourself to double check and not just verified to be a real person by P411.
