Many of us started with review boards. there was never a time for many us to be working without one.

A lot of us are in the online provider generation.

Plus if your are afraid of sharing your board name, that give us a red flag. If your a good client as you want us to believe then giving up a board name should be no problem at all.

Now that we have more tools available to us, we use them. Just like guys not calling direct anymore, but using text.

Ive never minding sharing my board handle. I'll do this before my real name, that's a no no unless I establish a relationship with the provider and the real info is a two way street.

It all comes down to whether or not you can trust a provider to keep the information you provide completely confidential. Giving out your online handle is really no different than sharing personal/screening information.

Make a mistake and pick a provider who is untrustworthy and you'll likely end up totally fucked.

Do your homework, and even then, there are no guarantees. Clients and providers alike are fickle by nature. Just read some of the recent threads on this very board and many might seriously second guess any initial desire they might have had to meet, providers and members both.

If you give out your handle, and are in any way active on the review boards or social media under that handle (e.g write reviews, comment about specific providers or agencies), it doesn't take long for the providers to connect you and whatever contact info you gave with that handle.

Once you and the handle are connected, providers that fall into the less than trustworthy category can get up to all sorts of fuckery.

I've never been asked for personal information. I usually volunteer my handle on the boards though--maybe that's enough for most of the ladies.
