What is good service from an Independent SP to you?

As an Independent SP, one of the main elements of my career is to provide "good service". Over time, I've realized what is excellent/amazing to some, may just be good to others. (Inside and outside SP work btw). I do my best to provide great service , to all of my clients. And I've had amazing clients that make it much easier to do. Surely most Independent SP's try to provide a great encounter.

What makes an encounter with an Independent SP amazing or subpar?
What do you think is a good/great Independent SP service?

Chemistry is #1 for sure, and I'm not including that for this evaluation ***

Bare Bones - What is great service from an independent service provider to you? What is a good service standard to you ?

Providing a good service is all that is needed. Chemistry is overrated, blame the pooners for asking too much. Stay within your good guidelines and you will do fine.

Best independent service : Treat me like you are my girlfriend.

Such an easy question to answer but complex enough to have fun with it.

DFK, DATY nor many alphabets needed. Keep it simple, most of us don't just want to get our rocks off. An hour a month or so with a sincere genuine sp that can play the game is worth the fantasy.

If I don`t find an Escort physically attractive, I won`t spend money on her services, but I will flirt with her on a message board, if she has an interesting personality.

If I find an Escort physically attractive, but I don`t find her personality interesting, I might spend money on her services, exactly once.

If I find an Escort physically attractive, and her personality is interesting to me, I`d likely spend money on her services more than once, and book for more than an hour each time. The expression `a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush`, does not refer to digits vs DP!

Some guys are bedpost notch counters; they`d rather spend $150 three times, to find the one bargain that was worth $250, and write off the two sessions that were overpriced. I`d rather avoid the two that were poorly reviewed, and spend three hours with the bargain, or two hours with a lady that was par priced at $450 for that length of time.

For me, it`s less about what service is provided, and more about who is providing the service. I`m not looking for `niche fetish`sessions that only some ladies offer; there are some fairly standard menu items that are always or almost always on the table, in pay for play.

Getting laid shouldn`t be difficult for most guys, if their standards are realistic. Doing it with someone in particular can be a bit of a challenge, or requires some research

What is the advantage to paying more ? Do I receive something I cannot receive with booking a young lady from an agency?

I find some independents tickle my fancy while some seem to have an air of entitlement.

I would expect great service, not a clock watcher, showered as opposed to being moist towelette wiped and a nice incall with all the immensities.

Its more than the physical aspect, when I see a lady for the first time its a little awkward for me, but if she makes me feel at ease in the first few minutes thats big for me. Good conversation and good company, and a sense of intimacy will always keep me coming back. I prefer women who are a little older so usually the sessions are less inhibited and so the GFE thing isnt usually an issue.

You would not. I would. C'èst la vie.

Nothing prevents you from tickling your own fancy, but another person would not do it for free.

They should expect that, too. Perhaps that`s what you meant by a `sense of entitlement`. As Redd Foxx many times noted, `You`ve got to wash you ass`.

I find that statement offensive and unfair. Since there are many reasons why agency girls are cheaper, namely because they are agency girls, and why bring them up, the op is an indy and her post was asking questions relevant to seeing indy's.
There will always be a market for both, and that shouldn't change, however as an independent, and a very low volume one to boot, it would make no economical sense for me to charge what a service charges.I have all the over head, advertising costs, etc, etc... A service girl doesn't and, in most cases, sees far more clients per day/week than an indy, hence their willingness and ability to accept less pay per client. Agency's also pull in more biz than indy's. So it's never a fair comparison.
There are men who seek out indy's for reasons, and those who seek out agency girls for reasons. But good service is good service, and it becomes less like service when there is compatibility and or chemistry between those involved in the date. Of course there are girls who can provide great service regardless of who they see, they are great actresses, and they have the ability of not allowing their clients to know they're acting. Then there are those who provide good service that sometimes will be great because they aren't great actresses, but still great providers, they're just more authentically reactive. There is a market for all, and all will do well, if they treat their guests with respect, and enthusiasm.

@ Cristy: To be succinct, a top quality Independent establishes a higher hourly rate to exclude 'the great unwashed'.

To use the analogy of 'dining out', one patron is content to 'scruff a munch' at a McDonald's drive through, where one might expect generic service, a barely palatable bland taste, and discolouration as a result of excessive time spent under a heat lamp, with hurried preparation by a pimply-faced teenage amateur, new to full time employment.

On the other hand, someone may chose, instead, to dine at Hooters, where one would receive service from a buxom lass, skilled in the art of customer service. Instead of a mound of flesh set between packaged buns, the patron would be offered a patty hand kneaded by a professional, on a platter adorned with garnishes, and there would be some expectation that a drink might precede the meal, eaten leisurely, as opposed to one wolfed down in a parking lot.

The latter experience, not unexpectedly, would command a higher price, but would appeal more to the delicate palate, rather than to the budget conscious consumer, in a hurry to be somewhere else.

@flash, you are a wise an astute man Flash, however price shouldn't be used as a guarantee to better service. Prices for indy's run the gamut, for various reasons, as I'm sure they do in the agency area as well and they aren't always an assurance as to the quality of service you'll receive. But more than not a higher priced indy, as you said, does price higher to set the bar, so to speak, to attack a certain type of client and I would hope also includes nicer accommodations, and other bells and whistles.

@ Cristy: Here are several examples that describe the situation. I'll define 'value' as what the usual 'par' price would be for appearance/ service/ quality of time, based on other similar experiences. This is my conjecture, not my personal philosophy, and is based on years of observing trends. I think most people would agree, this is fairly accurate; not necessarily how it should be, but how it is:

If a new Escort costs $A, and her value is $3A, A guy who 'discovers' her might not write a review, or tell other men. He would likely keep this bargain a secret, and book with her as frequently as possible.

If a new Escort costs $B, and her value is $2B, he may well tell friends privately, but not publicly.

If a new Escort costs $C, and her value is $1.5C, he'll probably write a great review, and her cost will quickly rise to $1.2C, then $1.5C, if she becomes Independent.

If a new Escort costs $D, and her value is $D, he'll probably write a good review, and her cost will stay at $D.

If a new Escort costs $E, and her value is $.8E, he'll probably write a lukewarm review, or not write a review at all.

If a new Escort costs $F, and her value is $.5F, he'll probably write a bad review, and the Escort will leave the Industry, move, or rebrand.

If an established Escort costs $G, her price will remain at $G for an extended period, and usually rise about 5-10%, every two years or so.

The Escort described as $A is unaware of her market value; a guy doesn't want her price to rise rapidly.

The Escort described as $B will likely become Independent quickly, and her price will rise to at least $1.6B at that time, and continue to $2B, if she remains a 'flavor of the month', as opposed to a 'flash in the pan'.

The Escort described as $C is probably a new agency Escort, who quickly goes Independent.

The Escort described as $D will gradually lose market share, as the 'one and done' crowd will remove her from their TDL.

The Escort described as $E will likely have a short career in one location, followed by ?.

Your value maybe correct, yet since I can only evaluate by my own experiences, I can't agree nor disagree. I will say I've always done well and have only increased my prices over the years, not lowered, and that doesn't seem to lessen my demand. I get my slow times, but they are balanced out by times that are to busy for me. I prefer a quality date to numerous mediocre, or "just for the money" dates. So volume isn't important to me, nor is making a certain amount of money per time periods.

Act like you're happy to hear from me when I make contact.
Act like you're happy to see me when I arrive.
Put your phone away, make me your center of attention for the time booked.
Don't bullshit me with fake compliments.
Laugh at my stupid jokes. :)

This is what confuses me.( and this isn't just about you, as most men feel this way, imo).....in most of your post you do say "act" which most sp's do, yet fake compliments, seems to be a turn off? That is part of the "acting". Most men I think feel as you do, yet many seem to confuse authenticity with acting, and seem to want a mixture of both. Which can be difficult, since authentic people react authentically and actresses perform. Good on those that can do both, but men should be realistic about their expectations. If you want real reactions, seek out someone who you'll have chemistry with, if you want someone who'll give you "fake compliments" seek out someone you're attracted only physically too. Sometimes you can have both, both more often, it's one or the other.

Being happy to hear from me or being happy to see me are both quite plausible. I am actually a good guy. :)
Telling me my dick is huge, not plausible. Shower me with compliments but make sure they are believable.
My fave SP tells me I am sweet and funny. Rather be deadly handsome and a great lay, but I'll take sweet and funny.

Cristy, this is exactly my point: Every Escort sets her own price for companionship. That's why 'haggling' is held in such disdain. A number of different options are available, at different fees, to suit a variety of needs, and budgets. Each Independent Escort is free to set her own fee, schedule of availability, services that may be offered, and restrictions. The client has no RIGHTS, whatsoever.

An Escort could set her rate at thousands of dollars per hour*. She would have few clients, but the ones she did have might elect to pay that fee, only because they could, and someone else could not. An Escort who undervalues herself costs herself money. An Escort who overvalues herself does the same. An Escort who prices her services in accordance with the value she herself places on those services generally has enough business to meet her financial goals. From whom she receives that funding is her business. The sum total is of interest to her accountant.

*This figure may seem ridiculous to a bargain hunter, and it is. This sort of fee, however, is not unusual. The misconception lies with those who believe that all people who are dating each other are 'in love' with each other, and in exclusive relationships. Many women, (and men), in the public eye are 'kept' by someone, and fame or infamy is a factor. Someone like a former movie star or a retired Olympic champion may have a 'reputation', but no current regular source of income.

Too many people equate paid companionship solely with the subset of Escorts who advertise their availability to the general public. Almost everyone 'has a price', either as a buyer, a seller, or a renter. Only fools, the naive, the charitable and the altruistic give away things that other people would be willing to purchase. Their motives are nobody else' business, either.
