ok, going along with the conscience theme thread:
I was driving to work yesterday and this guy wrote the morning crew a letter.
In it he stated that he just got married and his wife and he were off to cuba for their honeymoon.....they hoped to make a baby while there....he went on to say that (can you BELIEVE this shit?) his new wife told her folks about their trip and THE INLAWS BOUGHT A VACATION AT THE SAME RESORT AT THE SAME TIME AS THEM!!!
The guy said that he couldn't bring it up cuz he'd look like the bad guy......
HOLY FUCKING CHRIST...talk about the galll..........
Ok, here's my take on it:
If they/he got along famously with the inlaws and they said that they'd leave the newlyweds alone and only booked the trip because they got a great deal, then that isn't a problem really as long as that is the truth.....(I've had some inlaws where i got along really well with her folks, so much so that I almost stayed in touch with the folks after we broke up)
I highly doubt the above is the case however.....
Since it is most likely the inlaws are way overstepping boundaries my advice would be to nip this in the bud right fucking now.....I'd say to my wife, tell you folks to postpone their trip or we'll postpone ours.....if she says no way, then I'd tell him to say: if you don't tell them I will....if she still won't say a thing I'd call up the travel agency and change the date....if they couldn't? I'd say...i'm staying home.....
If they're the type to do this shit then his life is in for a living hell.......
what do you guys (and girls) say?
