One thing to remember is blood is thicker than water. The family will usually take the child (regardless of age) back in a divorce where spouses can come and go but I'd still be pissed if my inlaws pulled a stunt like this without it being planned.
that's the thing that many interfering families think.....but the basic fact is that a couple is supposed to be starting a new family together, not a continuation of theirs....yes, the existing group should be there to support and encourage them, NOT interfere with them....
The greek chick that i was dating was a prime example. Her sister was even worse. she was married with 2 kids and i shit you not, they were at the parent's place every night of the week....i did some work with the brother and law and asked him: don't you think it's a bit much? He just shrugged his shoulders and said "hell, i save a fortune on groceries...." I mean, both daughters couldn't shit without their mother's permission and we're talking 35 and 38 at the time...NOT kids......
