Made with Love

Whatcha doin?

OK, this may sound kinda lame - but just been kind of down lately with women problems...so I decided to watch How I Met Your Mother from the beginning. Figured it might cheer me up...if it took Ted 9 years to meet his future wife then perhaps I just need to stay the course and remain patient.

That doesn't sound lame at all, Casa. It sounds...human. We all have those times in life, and online is a good place to vent about them.

I hope the show cheered you. :BigHug:

Getting ready for a new date. Need 6 hours to find topics to talk about.

Yes very lame.

Bacon is always a good topic

If your date has no interest in it you excuse yourself to hit the head and use the one at home.

Doing a lazy Saturday morning ritual, just having some fresh ground Second Cup El Toucan coffee. I like my coffee pretty strong, three heaping tablespoons per large cup, so it shouldn't be too long before I get going. Reading the morning news outlets of choice, HUBGFE and Bloomberg news today.

Wearing some boxer style briefs and a Guess V neck, I like classic quality clothes and Guess look good, don't shrink and last for years more than other shirts that do, 7-15 bucks more than other shirts but worth it IMO. Joe Fresh is another brand I like, not a fan of R&W though, they shrink. A nice white shirt and a good pair of jeans for the weekend.

Thinking about going to or ordering from Alternative Grounds coffee in Toronto. They fresh roast their coffee to order and have some very good estate coffees like Ethiopian Yergacheffe...considered best coffee a couple years in a row. Add to that its $14 a pound rather than $17 for Second Cup. At 4 pounds a month that can add up. And it's much better coffee that is roasted that day not 2 months ago in Brazil or Panama. Must be nice to have such a coffee shop in the area.

If I don't make a trip to Toronto for that and a couple of other things I am going to clean out the garage and do some pressure washing, and just generally 'tool around' the house on this fine Saturday. In the evening going to put something from The Teaching Company on my iPod, learn Archaeology, Economics or something like that, entertainment for me. Maybe a photography composition course from Lynda.

In short just enjoying the weekend and simple pleasures of life.

(and thinking about my next visit to a fine women, that goes without saying).

It's lazy Sunday day. Gorgeous day outside, sitting in the patio about to have my fire brew.

I love the imagery that popped up in my head from your words. Did your Saturday turn out as you planned?

I'm ok thanks. It's a battle between the mind and the heart. The mind knows better, but the heart makes it hard to move forward...
