It turned out pretty close. I ended up getting carried away with the pressure washer and cleaning everything outside including using it to weed which covered me in mud splatter. Haven't been that muddy for decades. Took a shower, put on some shorts and basked in the sun on my back porch. Enjoyed hearing one of my neighbors doing her showtunes recital while I was tanning. She's really good and its like going to a free concert, but if your sleeping and she laughs there's no way you won't wake up if you live in a kilometer radius...a nice alarm but a loud one. Someone else used to play a trumpet and I loved that too but haven't heard it in quite a while. I am usually a rock guy but love horn instruments ever since i moved in this neighborhood and heard 23 play. I've found it tough to find albums that revolve around a particular wind instrument, you know, not as the compliment to something else but for its own sake. Maybe I should take up learning one and join the neighborhood Saturday talent show.

Another nice hot summer day yesterday, we still have a handful left. Going to try to make the most of them.

But it's back to work tomorrow, stayed up late doing the paper work I forgot about and wanted to see what's going on here as a reward for getting that done. Lots of interesting stuff, lots of pretty pictures

Hehehe I recently discovered the joys of using a hose spraying water to clean up outside. A waste of water, ya, but there was no way I was gonna climb up on a ladder to get rid of cobwebs and old hornets' nests at the top of my fence. Never thought to use it on weeds. That's funny.

You have interesting neighbours. I think most people have a hard time listening to a sole wind instrument playing. I could listen to a baritone sax for hours and hours. Perhaps check out artists on YouTube and make a playlist? You may end up getting lots of musicians practising scales though which can get tedious pretty quickly.
