Made with Love

What's Your Gulty Pleasure Television Show?

I like Monster Fish, especially the episode with the giant salamander from Japan, and the one with the huge fish that looks like a pirhana, that lives in the Congo river.

1,000 Ways to Die on Spike TV is great, but I don't know if it airs anymore. They had poorly acted re-anactments of 'true' stories, of how people died doing stupid things, with a doctor explaining afterwards what happened. It's sort of a Darwin Awards show, which is partly serious, but mostly comedy. Most of them are probably scripted urban myths, or loosely based on fact.

Examples: A guy always parked in the handicapped spot at the beach, because he didn't want to have to walk far, to go surfing. When he was leaving, his surf board hit the handicapped parking sign, and the edge of the surf board decapitated him.

A guy would take road kill animals home, and cook and eat them, but he didn't cook one squirrel long enough, it had rabies, and he caught the disease from eating the undercooked meat.

A guy filled his inflatable floating pool chair with a flammable gas, to save time, then blew himself up, when he fell asleep with a cigarette in his hand, and it melted though the plastic.

They have about five or six per episode, and sometimes they play one or two, between Star Wars movies, to fill the time to the nearest hour or half hour. I downloaded a lot of episodes that I haven't seen yet, but I don't mind watching some of the same ones, over and over.
