Made with Love

Where you popular in High School?.

Didn't have to watch all the video. I am one of the nerds that succeeded. Remember that studying is better than partying in your teen years.

No but who really cares. Your future is made up of how strong your intellect connection and personal discipline is.

Persona, personality...There's a difference?

Was I popular? Pfffft, not. Didn't date, didn't go to dances, didn't go to parties, didn't partake in sports. Hell, I didn't even go to the prom. My social circle of people I would consider friends and associates consisted of....5/6 people. I was the odd ball/weirdo. I was the one when asked what colour the sky was in my world would look out the window and say grey because it was over cast.

Blank Dave...it seems that as people age, we go out and encounter new people and the limits of the little world of high school tend to get blown away. Suddenly you can find that there are a whole lot more people like yourself. I'm sorry you haven't had that experience but I often wonder with you...what have you done to change your situation. If what you are doing now isn't really working for you, why not try something else?

I'm not trying to judge you or tell you what to do. I truly sympathize with some of your feelings (as I've had them too over the years).

Just go out and try doing something you haven't tried before...maybe you'll start finding things and people you like.

Going on deaf ears.

Don't you get it?.

While I certainly can't say I've tried everything, a lot of stuff just doesn't interest me. Sports, I was never athletically inclined, and now with me waiting on my ACL to be repaired, most of that's right out. Travel, no interest. Volunteering, I barely have enough time to do the little amount of stuff I do.

Really it boils down to I don't know what to try, in part because I really don't give a damn.

In reality this is what makes you happy. You enjoy not really being into anything and when you are forced to do things you are not comfortable with you are in a bush of thorns. Everyone has their own thing.

I was one of the popular kids and yes partied a little too much. I ended up in a decent paying job with great benefits so it's all good. I would never be happy going into work with a shirt and tie sitting in an office all day. I'll never get rich orown that 6000 sq.ft. home and drive a new Mercedes unless of course I win the Lotto Max but I'm happy.

I doubt he was.
