Plus, once done I still feel I need to shower to rinse the soapiness off.

Remember when we were kids? Mom would fill the bathtub with water once, and if you were lucky, you got to be first in the tub and not 4th or 5th! You'd want to take a shower after your bath to get rid of the soap scum from your siblings and who knows what else was floating in the water by then, lol.
