I'm thinking that I'll start up an NFL Regular Season Football for for the upcoming season for everyone who loves fantasy fare as much as I do....:biggrin2:
The pool will run for all games during the regular season.
Each person who tees up to play (totally free to participate, everyone is welcome) will simply need to pick & post his projected winning teams for all games played in advance of a fixed weekly deadline, each week of the regular season. No need to cover the odds (over/under) - just pick the most correct winning teams over the course of the regular season.
The individual with the most aggregate 'wins' will be declared HUBGFE's NFL Regular Season Champion.
In the case of one or multiple ties for aggregate wins, we can use something like total points scored by all winning teams picked, and total number of touchdowns scored by winning teams selected. (I'm open to other suggestions as well)
I will post each week's upcoming games, keep track of who is participating in the pool, document which teams are selected by each player each week, and publish overall standings as the season progresses.
At present, the only prize is HUBGFE 'bragging rights' as THE 2015 NFL Fantasy Football Champion and resident football guru. Perhaps, if enough people sign up to participate, someone who writes their name in red ink around here might be convinced donate a prize, but no promises. (A mouldy sammich, some flat beer, or cold chicken wings for the winner would be greatly appreciated!)

If you want to participate, simply post your interest in this thread before the start of the upcoming regular season September 10th. Then make sure you get your picks posted on time (in the proper thread) each week.
I'll create a formal Pool Thread elsewhere with upcoming games, and where all participants can post their weekly picks, talk trash, check game results, etc., as well as a more formal set of 'official' rules before the first regular season game next week.
No experience or knowledge of football is required to play and join in the fun, so hope to lots of ladies signing up to play too!
