My daughter thought it would be funny/rebellious/cool to post on her Facebook wall just how upset she was and how unfair her life…

Parents and Kids... watch.
Today was probably the most disappointing day of my life as a father and I don't know how to correct the situation. Since I can't seem to make any headway with my daughter on Facebook, I chose instead to remedy the problem permanently.

Yes. I do remember the original thread. But still, the question is, who is the role model that allowed her to act this way in the first place. This has nothing do with having "a" father. Or a father who thinks shooting up stuff is parenting. It's about having on an duty "father" who teaches his kids how to not behave this way in the first place.

True Papa, but the fact remains, most, not all, problem children, are lacking guidance from good parents. She is acting out because of something, his "re-acting out" isn't the answer. A happy household with happy attentive parents, usually leads to a child who'll follow the right path, be happy and responsible even when presented with peer pressures and societal issues. Children are sieves when it comes to issues in the home. They can detect problems that many adults are aware they're even displaying. Those problems they can then internalize and will often cause them to rebel because of.
I don't believe his type of parenting to be a good example nor will it solve her issues. But we all believe what we believe
