Why do some of you insist on seating in the front row at the movies?.

I tried it once and it will remain my only time. Why on earth would you elect to seat even close to the front row. My kids do it, I don't get it.

I watched the Matrix from the front row. I was a bit drunk. It was a cool experience but I will never do it again. It's all about sensory overload.

I've only had to do that once, seeing a batman movie a long time ago. Theater was packed. Ever since getting my new glasses I prefer to sit as close to the back as possible.

I used to sit first row and middle seat when I was in my twenties and now I have no clue how I could do that.
Last time I went to the movie I was maybe 4 rows back and I felt still way to close.
Used to go 4-5 times a week,that was obviously pre Netflix time...Do not go much anymore.
The bright side when my favourite seat was first row was that I never had problem getting my seat,always available lol

Font Row for Lethal Weapon 2. Not only did I have a sore neck but deaf from all the EXPLOSIONS!

Nowadays if I go I'll pay the extra for a theatre with reserved seats. If not reserved I'll arrive 30 mins ahead to a decent seat. If not than I won't bother.

Usually this only happens to me if the theater is busy and the only seats left are in the front rows. Typically I prefer the middle to back rows and not next to anyone.
