My wife mentioned a story that someone wants to ban all shelters that euthanize dogs. How do they plan on paying for the care of all of those unwanted pets and/or what would happen to the pet population? I get the emotional motivation but the practicality is crazy.

wouldn't it be crazy if we made people responsible for their pets finally!! Then there'd be no need for kill shelters, actually there is no NEED now. It is us that cause the over population of domesticated dogs and cats so it is us who should remedy the problem, not kill the animals. See the problem isn't the animals it is our irresponsibility, yet the animals ALWAYS pay the ultimate price.Time we start making people pay!!
