Why is the Confederate flag still there???

Individuals who choose to display the confederate flag, on private property, are protected under First Amendment. The flag as reprehensible as it is, will not, should not, cannot be banned outright. Just as the peaceful criticisms against such displays, are protected and allowed.

The flag should be removed from any and all state property. It represents neither the state nor the U.S. Government. The state, does not have the same protection to free speech as individuals. The only flags that should be on display, on state properties, are the official state flag, and the U.S. Flag.

Imagine putting up the Nazi flag and someone saying it is part of our heritage. Wtf.
