Would you vote for Ford as Mayor?

Even Smitherman's brother is backing Ford!

Arthur Smitherman — the older brother of mayoral candidate, George — is running for a Toronto city council seat and has thrown his support behind his brother’s main rival, Councillor Rob Ford.

Tell me about it... Its one thing to not have the same viewpoint and therefore vote against him, but to GO PUBLIC about it? Well, that is another thing entirely!

X-mas family dinners must be a real treat at the Smitherman's! :gasp:

I'm thinking he either knows his brother really well (and has dirt on him), or they simply dont get along

I'm so glad my own brother isn't a politician...

I would have to (by default) not like him very much! LOL!

Did you guys hear Howard Moscoe's latest quip???
And I quote directly:

"With all these tax cuts and everything, they are going to have to close the libraries three days a week to pay for it. Rob Ford’s supporters won’t mind, because they can’t read."

Now I'm DEFINITELY voting for Rob Ford. Whatever little doubt I had has just gone out the window.
What an arrogant, fucking idiot. He's only hurting the other candidates every time he opens his piehole

haha, politics can be so entertaining. I'd like to see what happens when nobody votes anymore because they're just tired of incompetent politicians, and people just DO things themselves (can we form an anarchy in Toronto?). But I doubt that will ever happen...or whether it can happen. But it would be interesting to see. Is an anarchy viable, or would it just degrade into another pseudo-government with little oversight? So many questions

Ford all the way! That is for Mayor, I would never ever buy a Ford vehicle!

the fact the his opponents are only seeking to tear him down without offering a comprehensive vision for the betterment of Toronto, FORD GETS MY VOTE OUT OF SPITE FOR THE OTHERS
You are not the only one who feels that way

Rather have ford with a business mind than Smitherman with a dick of a mind.

Ford has no business mind ... the family business is run by his brother ... even Ford's father had some common sense not to put this loud mouth in charge of the family business ... in fact the Ford campaign is run by his brother and from what I hear he finds it a challenge to keep a lid on his rather boorish sibling.

Ford is a major disaster in the making who will face a council in revolt to his leadership and a Provincial Government that will do nothing that would remotely put a Mayor Ford in a good light before the next Provincial election.

We can all sum Rob Ford with the names he calls people ... like the Italian Canadian councillor who disagreed with him who Ford thought it was appropiate to call a "Gina" ... now if we can only get this blowhard to drop the "N" word at a debate.

I guess you voted for Miller in the past, who we all know has done such a wonderful job!
