Oops. White Sox promotional free white poncho give-away.

Seemed like a good idea at the time...then it rained. Please, don't start holding up the 'K' signs for strikeouts.

Smoke from forest fires was so thick in Prince George, BC at noon today, the streetlights came on.

[h=1]CCTV CAPTURED THE MOMENT Man attempted to snatch child away from mother in Derby 2014[/h]

I was surprised to see the mom react so calmly. My foot would have connected with his balls the moment I realized what he was doing.

I don't think anybody even realized what was happening there until much later. The guy played it out like it was just a misunderstanding.

I couldn't find the original post about the Ming Dynasty chicken cup, but here's an update:

In April, Liu Yiqian, one of China’s richest men and most important art collectors, bought a rare Ming dynasty porcelain cup at auction from Sotheby’s in Hong Kong. The 500-year-old “Chicken cup” is one of only 17 in existence and fetched a record sum: $36 million dollars. Liu had to use his American Express Centurion Card, commonly known as a black card, to pay for the cup, and as a bonus he earned 422,860,000 rewards points. Man, what should Liu do with all of those points?

American Express Centurion Card? The fact that I didn't know that such a card even existed is reason enough to show which crowd I belong to. :Crying/:
