Every know and then I google my name to find where it is being advertised and posted, today I noticed HUBGFE's very own Ray Finkle posting about me on ebaums world, what ever that is wishing me a happy 48th? Why he's aged me 7 yrs I'm not sure.....On another site, another asswipe posted rumors of my having std's. It's a shame and sad when women bash one another and spread lies, but when men do it!! Just pathetic. I just hope someone does to them the same or worse. There is enough truths that can be discussed without having to lie, little boys!!
 
There are assholes everywhere, unfortunately. One of the problems with open boards.

I've never heard of Ebaum but I'd pm him and demand to take it down. That's not right and as for the STD guy, you sure it's not a competitor feeling threatened, either way it's not right.
 
You left out cowardly in the title. So easy to lurk in the shadows and strike out at those you are jealous of or threatened by. Some find beautiful intelligent women threatening I guess.
Trolls get short lived gratification from posting their vitriol on the net. Unfortunately like a serial killer or pedophile the more they do it the more they need to do it.
Everything they post says more about them than about their victims. It is easier said than done to just ignore it and they count on this as our reactions feed their need.
The question is: Should we feel sorry for their miseable lives or hunt them down and smite them?
I'm for smiting.
 
Thank you for the supportive words. The post Ray has made I just noticed today, the other post was made just before my other dog died and it's made by a guy with the first initial C, who runs another site most here don't like. That is slander and I did contact a lawyer but decided to let it lie, as dealing with my dogs death consumed all of my energy and the cost of fighting that prick isn't worth it to me. People will believe what they believe. My other dog is now sick and I've spent shy of $2000. since Monday, I'm not made of money but will use all my resources to fight a good fight for her, she means more to me than my reputation. So the fuckwads and toitwaddles can spin their lies and spread their maliciousness and foolishness, hopefully it gets them what they need. Just venting here has helped as have the kind responses.
@Escape-you supply all of us lots of very important, useful, helpful and interesting info, thank you for all the time you spend doing so, that is very thoughtful and generous of you:)
 
Sometimes the Internet really sucks cristycurves. I have a love/hate thing going on myself. I've learned to not take it seriously though. It sucks even more with your livelihood can depend on what's being said though, especially when you're such an active member. I can't really offer any words of wisdom that you don't already know. You've already got it down pat I think. Focus on family first, and then kick the shit out of the d-bags when you have time. Revenge is a dish best served cold after all.
 
Anybody worth knowing wouldn't rely solely on words spewed by anonymous "people" online.

I'm so so so very sorry to hear about your dog's death and the struggle you're facing now with your other dog's health. Big hugs cristy
 
Christy, in all seriousness, I thought you liked Ray Finkle.

You would often compliment him on his posts.

You knew he could be outlandish, but you seemed to like him.

And?....So...does that give him the right to post shit about me. Your point is silly. Because I liked his posts, thought some were funny, should that then make it alright for him to lie/exaggerate about me? Outlandish is one thing, being a liar is another.I like anyone and everyone until they make trouble for no needed reason.

But you knew he was problematic towards others even when he treated you well. Just because you weren't the initial target of his behaviour, doesn't make him a likeable person.

Think with a bigger mind than what your eyes can see in front of your face.

Are you saying that a guy who is problematic online can't also be a likeable person?



Way back when I first joined the boards in BC, there was an epic feud going on between two prolific pooners. They were both very bright, and good writers, and would rip each other to shreds, post after post, thread after thread ... and it went on for years.

They both ended up being clients of mine, and both of them turned out to be really nice guys in person. I knew I couldn't let either of them know I'd met the other, and couldn't share what both of them talked about when we met, but oddly enough - they were both diagnosed with the same stress-induced health issues and went for identical tests within a week of each other.

I think they would have been great friends if they'd met in real life.

It is amazing how personality has to do so much with health issues. Worriers and ranters seem to always have heart issues.
