It's funny, I wonder how many our age have that happen? I remember as a kid waiting with baited breath for the next episode. I know the special effects look cheesy now but back then? OMG how fantastic they were.

Yeah my dad and I would watch them together and I couldn't get over how great everything looked in colour. We had just made the big purchase of our first colour TV,lol.

Yeah my dad and I would watch them together and I couldn't get over how great everything looked in colour. We had just made the big purchase of our first colour TV,lol.

I didn't get to see it in colour until reruns.....

More on that subject (now don't laugh) but when I watched shows and movies from the 50's and 40's (and early 60's) I thought "how bland everything was". I mean, everyone dressed in shades of grey, and the cars were either black, white, or grey...lol....I actually thought that was how the world was.......:???:

Oh, and when I first heard about colour tvs, I went over my parent's tv with a fine tooth comb looking for "colour". I found a green stripe in the trim between the gold frame and the wood cabinet..ok, we have a colour tv too! lol.....
