..... but I can honestly say it taught me the basics of good customer service and how to work hard for next to nothing, principles that that have helped me to be successful in everything other job I've had.

Very true, If I were an employer, I would hire anyone with a good reference from Macdonald's, the job teaches good work ethics.

I really wanted to work at Commisso and Racco Bakery but the owner didn't like the way I was staring down the veal!

I ended up getting my first pay check from working in a shoe store for $5 an hour. Money was crap but I did get a look up a few skirts here and there.

Every cloud has a silver lining. That'd be a great job for someone with a foot fetish.

I sorta remember my first paycheck. I was 15yrs old working at a Famous Players movie theatre in Montreal. I can't remember what the exact amount was, but I remember I was happy that I was making my own money, and I could see movies for free lol. I think I bought a lot of baseball and hockey cards with that money. Who knows where those cards are now

Managers there make over $40,000 net plus full benefits. Is that enough?.

I think they were the first restaurant to have a strict protocol about how every single process is done. From which order the ingredients go on the burger, to exactly how employees are to take an order, to how to clean everything. That's one thing I still like about McD's, they're consistent.

Good comfort food when you'r a long way from home, same with Timmie's.
