Your highlight of 2016.

My highlight of 2016 is findind a job that pays me 45% more and I enjoy doing it. Plus the new bosses like my work and work ethics.

I guess my highlight would be reconnecting with all my family members, some of whom I hadn't seen for 30+ years.


It was a very tough year for me and I'll be glad when it's over.

Actually, let me add to my highlights.

I saw Candice Cane when she had a brief return to Roommates. For the life of me, I can't remember if it was late 2015 or early 2016 but it was cold. It was a nice surprise when she opened the door and welcomed me. Love this girl.

Best and worst in one.

My son has ADHD and will soon be evaluated for Asbergers. His behavior in class last year was bad but we attributed part of it to his teacher and her way of doing things. (She was awfully cold for an elementary teacher). This year he has a better teacher and we saw the need for medication to help him calm down and focus. The first med was a complete disaster (This was the worst part of the year). He became a different person and it tore my heart to pieces. We changed to another med after 1 1/2 weeks and it was like night and day. He was back to being my little boy and the extremes of behavior that led us to worry about it being Asbergers declined dramatically. (This was the best part of the year). He's been doing great with only occasional issues and is back to the loving little kid that owns my heart. He's doing better in school and better with other kids. One of our worries is that he was going to be ostracized by his lack of self control around other kids. Everything is sooooo much better now!

For me it's been a very challenging year both in my work and personal life. I'd rather not get into specifics but instead just look ahead to better times in 2017.

It has been a good year. A few bumps along the way, didn't kill me and I am definately stronger.
Great times on the water over the summer.
Almost 40 lbs lighter and in much better shape. A way to go yet.
Business and life goals are being met.
What has brought the most joy to my life and keeps the smile on my face has been regular visits to a stellar lady.
