Youtube test

Youtube won't allow the stuff I want to post. :SayWhat?::LMAO:

Everything is working fine for me BTW.

To all, and especially to Transient:

You were correct about the clock problem, but there was more. to it than that, at my end.
This is a full explanation of my posts this morning in Maurice Boscorelli's How Much Discipline Do You Have? thread: https://www.hubgfe.com/community/showthread.php?80552-So-How-Much-Discipline-Do-You-Have

That was not a prank joke, I was drawing logical conclusions, based on a false premise. This timeline will explain it.

1) In approximately May of this year, I downloaded a plug-in for my Avira antvirus app. It has caused my multiple problems since.

2) About a week ago, I experienced similar problems, on a smaller scale. Part of the problem did relate to my computer clock, which changed for some reason I can't explain. I caught that manually, because I download a lot of image files, and often sort them by date modified.

3) I called tech support at my ISP, (teksavvy), last Tuesday, received some instructions, and my problems were solved by doing a full system antvirus scan. That takes about 40 hours, most of which is spent scanning unopened .zip and .rar files from my font downloads; there's a duplicate set on a different drive, in case one or the other crashes, or data is lost.

The scan found one minor Adware trojan, and the problem was fixed, for Internet, shortly after the scan started.

4) On Saturday, I was writing a fictional piece for Ask bobistheowl! that involved giving advice to Baz about things he should and should not do, on March 28, 2020, (a Saturday). I was telling him to not be standing under the oak tree in his neighbour's backyard during the storm at 3:22 PM, ('somebody needs to be hit by that falling branch, and suffer severe spinal cord injuries, rendering him quadriplegic, but it doesn't have to be you'), and I told him to take Connecticut, with the points, against Michigan State in the NCAA Final Four game, or MSU to win outright, if he's in a pool. That post was never made, because my Internet froze, (see below), while I was editing, and I wrote something else instead.

I checked my clock to see the calendar date of the last Saturday in March, 2020, but only looked. While doing that, my Internet froze, because the antivirus program was trying to update itself, without my knowledge. The failure of the update caused my clock to change, based on some restore command in the update. I know with 100% certainty that I did not confirm the change; the antivirus program was just 'helping me', by making a change that it thought I wanted to do.

5) I downloaded a number of pictures on Sunday, and they all have March 29, 2020 as the date last modified:

(I can't post the image, but it showed files with March 29, 2020 date last modified).

but other than for these saved files, I had no other problems.

6) about 1:10 AM today, I noticed the time stamp on a The Lobby post showed shortly after 2:00 AM. I made a screen capture, cropped and uploaded it, and clicked the report button, explained the problem, and gave the image link for the screen capture.

7) I opened Maurice Boscorelli's thread, and saw the 'certificate error' for YouTube hyperlink, that later disappeared, but you can see where the link used to be, from reply with quote.

I found similar pages on some sites, but not others. My e-mail, (Outlook), YouTube, Google, and Yahoo, among others, but not on many other sites. On my other boards, my stored passwords were erased.

I thought The Anonymous Group had simultaneously hacked Google and Yahoo!, and through them, crashed all major Internet social media sites, (YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, etc), and Yahoo! News, to make a statement about the erosion of direct human contact in the modern age.

That would be exactly the time, and the way, to do it: Just after midnight, on a Monday, at the end of the year, when most of the people who could fix it would be off work, on family business, and wouldn't be available, and the people on duty wouldn't have the knowledge or authorization to fix it themselves.

People would go nuts, because they would have no way of keeping in touch with each other, and it happened while they were sleeping.

Many people can't go to a website, without using a search engine; they don't know how to use the address bar. The newer operating systems take too much control from the user, instead of following commands, they anticipate what the user wants to do, and do it for them. Things like menu bars are still in Windows 7, but are no longer default settings, because people have been trained to not think that way anymore.

If you take away almost everyone's social media, what do they have left? They'd have to interact with other people face to face, something many of them have forgotten how to do, or never learned.

That's what I thought was going on. I was still awake, having gotten up at 11:30 PM, (I keep odd hours), and I was trying to make sense of things, based on what I thought was happening. It was consistent with the evidence I could see, without taking into account that my antivirus update failure, trying to help me, had caused the problem that I could see, but no one else could.

It takes a while to uninstall an antivirus program. You need to disconnect the computer from the modem, open Add/ Remove programs, and do multiple restarts. Many people wouldn't be able to figure that out on their own. A virus as simple as one that changed the clock time could do all of that.

I was trying to keep people informed, before they even knew the problem existed. That required long explanations. I use old school problem solving methods, because the standard method might be knocked out. In fact, ARPANET, the original 4 school 1969 precursor to the Internet, was created for that purpose; to maintain a line of communication, in the event that normal channels were broken, such as a nuclear war attack, or some electromagnetic pulse that required reinitialization of electrical systems. Computers cannot exist without electricity, direct current, or battery powered.

The clock change wipes out stored passwords. New information was being requested at YouTube, to get back in to my account. They wanted my mobile phone number. Most people just give them information like that, because someone asked, and they'd have to go through more screens to say no. Giving that information out allows Google, who owns YouTube, to know who you are, and where you are, by cross referencing the phone number to the account holder, and then they could track you by GPS, and Google Earth, whenever you're carrying your phone. They wouldn't want to track everyone, immediately, only the ones who would be immediate threats to stop them, the ones who don't just give that information away, to anyone who asks, with an emoticon.

Google is not "our friend". Most companies have 3-5 year business plans, on how they would like to grow. Google has a 300 year plan, to codify all information from the history of mankind.

That might sound like a good idea now, but it won't to some kid three hundred years from now, when there are no more paper books. He'll have to pay Google to read The Cat in the Hat, and the words will have been changed, or replaced by emoticons and 'text message spelling', to pander to the uneducated. Anything Google wouldn't want people to read about wouldn't exist anymore, including George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four, where that idea oif changing the past to control the future came from.

They wouldn't take away the things that don't really matter, like celebrity gossip and fluff news, just political opinion criticizing them, like in China, where those sorts of sites are blocked to citizens, with the help of Google.

I actually thought that was happening this morning, and I was trying to be ARPANET. They don't have 'tests of the emergency broadcast system' on TV anymore. I was trying to do that, through my 'old school' methods, all based on a misinterpretation of what I was seeing, and I was doing all of that work, while everyone else was sleeping or playing.

********************************************

My motives here are often misunderstood, so I'll spell them out.

I come to an Escort Review Forum to be entertaining, to flirt, and to acquire knowledge. My goal in coming here was to make HUBGFE the primary destination for that, and to make the red board irrelevant, because of my personal beef with the biased moderation there.

To do that, my strategy has been to try to recruit their top contributors, especially the Escorts who post in Forums, so they would make their posts here, instead of there. This site has the mod situation working properly, theirs doesn't. That's the 'offensive line' of your football team.

What we don't have here is a roster that can make the playoffs, and that's because of content.

If you're a brainy woman in The Industry, who wants to unwind at the end of a long night of work with some intellectual stimulation, that's hard to find here, so if they do come, they don't stay - it's kid's stuff, kindergarten recess posts almost everywhere, and no threads without that - papasmerf and oldguyzer, more than anyone else, make sure that intelligent discussion is killed as quickly as possible, because they don't want that. Competition frightens them, they want to rule, by virtue of their post counts, rather than the contentr of their posts. They have a few accomplices in this task.

Ask yourself this? What do senior citizens have to do with the Escort Industry? Why would you care about their opinions on sex, that they rarely express? Would you rather read posts made my Escorts, here to flirt, or would you rather read emoticons, and chat room garbage, with no lasting value?

They want you to read that, but why do you, really? Is it because you feel you have to, because it can't be avoided? I avoid it, with the Ignore button, because that's the only way I could find to stop having to read their junk in the middle of anything interesting.

Neither of them is incapable of writing things that are interesting to read, but that's rarely done, in a 48 character or less Tweet, especially when most of them are reruns, you read yesterday, last Friday, and 100 other times each, like a Chatty Cathy doll that says twelve different things, over and over. In their cases, they do it for post count trophies, not for any of you. They just pretend to be nice, by using emoticons.

That sort of drivel won't attract the intelligent women we'd all like to be reading instead, but then they would cease to dominate, and people would realize that they've never been saying anything interesting or funny in the first place, there just weren't enough other things to read.

When I came here to write interesting things to read, they attacked me from day one, papasmerf through sabotage, and oldguyzer through personal attacks. They've probably done that to many of the other posters who tried to make them irrelevant, as well.

A lot of the guys here think I'm being pompous and condescending towards them, and that's true - I behave that way, towards certain of them. That's classic male flirting, to devalue the competition, for the amusement of the ladies. They understand what I'm doing, and find it entertaining, mostly because you guys don't realize what I'm doing, and why. So, instead of talking down to you, I've been showing you guys how it used to be done, before political correctness made flirting a crime, in workplaces and social gatherings.

Ask yourself this? How may things are less politically correct than pay for play sex, between consenting adults? Probably pay for play sex with non adults, with non consenting adults, scat play, bestiality, and necrophilia, and a few other things, but not many.

Why would you want a politically correct Escort Review Forum? This is an industry where almost everything can be bought for a price, except emotional attachment, so why bother sharing emotions on the board, and nothing else?. The fact that so many of you guys didn't figure that out on your own is why I treat a lot of you like fools, with cause.

You don't even recognize your top contributors. Case in point: Candyman. This guy posts something provocative, fucks off, and watches the result, then does it again. He's the intellectual papasmerf, starting tons of five star threads, with just a provocative meme. You folks don't recognize that sort of thing, but I do, and so do a few of the guys who are paying attention.

In the "RED BOARD DOWN" thread, you'll find me welcoming DB123 on an early page. Why did I do that? Because he's a top red board reviewer, something WE need on this board, and I want him to write his reviews here, instead of there. You may not have known that, but I did.

In
https://www.hubgfe.com/community/showthread.php?80559-Would-you-hire-him, earlier today, I had an interesting exchange with DB123, in 'papasmerf got banned' https://www.hubgfe.com/community/showthread.php?80514-Papasmerf-got-banned-You-now-have-to-get-banned-three-more-times-to-beat-my-record/page4, #72-77, concerning the proper usage of Who and Whom. They showed the classic male approach to determining friend from foe. That was two guys teaching other guys how to do that, if you read it while it was still posted. I don't know what's gone on here since this morning.

So, that's it. That's why I do everything. To be entertaining, to flirt, to show other guys how to flirt, to acquire and disseminate information, and to try to make the red board irrelevant. To do that, I first try to make this board interesting for the ladies to read, and if they come, the men will migrate here, as well.

bob's post is actually very informative and worth reading on many levels.
