Made with Love

A Disturbing Find

See

you should have invited the youngin to diner.

I'm being criticized and being referred to as a nosy bastard yet you suggest I ambush my friend? Perhaps I should of set up a ring in my back yard so his wife and his mistress once outed could have proceeded to the mat to hash it out? I do see the sarcasm in your post I hope you do in mine.

You are either part of the problem or the solution.
You chose to insert yourself into the situation so the time is coming to decide which one you are.

To me the innocent act of inviting her over would not have been a bad thing if you want to end this

It was a very enlightening dinner last night. His wife looked truly beautiful and very happy. They do make a wonderful couple which is the unfortunate part, it is obvious she knows nothing and he is completely living a separate life behind her back. I was also informed my company will be setting up an office in Arizona. He will be sending several people there including his personal secretary. Along with buying a warehouse he is also purchasing a new home in Arizona because of course he will be spending most of his time there while he leaves me here to manage Canadian operations. Ida was very excited on my pending promotion but I'm of two minds because I know the real game plan which is to set up two lives, his wife here and his mistress in Arizona.

Again, Baz, you don't know what's going on in their marriage. I know from experience that some marriages look perfect in public but are far from it behind closed doors.

For all you know, the wife could have a separate life of her own.

I did remain silent and I do agree with him strictly from a business sense it is a good move but it pains me to know behind it there is another motivation, a more sinister motive, one that would leave a family broken if ever discovered.

I hope this means you have decided to keep this to yourself. It's not your truth to tell.

If you haven't told Ida about this, I'm surprised you're posting about it. Doesn't she lurk here sometimes?

Ida has not logged onto this site for months. She realized she's much happier not reading what goes on here. She deleted all the history, bookmarks etc. and has decided this board and it's members do not exist. I have decided to remain silent for now and I do know his wife knows nothing and lives one life. Ida and her are very close and Ida would never condone such behavior from a friend.

Exactly why I'm sure Ida would be the last person Wife would tell if she had a secret life.

The point I'm trying to make is that we don't know people as well as we think we do.

She has confided in Ida many times with personal issues. I do believe she would have given Ida an inkling of marital problems and yet she never has. I would feel better if she is fine with it and they have agreed on having an open relationship.

Confiding personal issues doesn't mean she's told everything, especially if that everything involved her own behavior she would know Ida would quickly pass judgment on.

I'm not saying this is the case, just that it's possible.

If I were the wife, the decision to relocate the secretary would set off alarm bells in my head. Administrative assistance is easy to hire. To relocate a secretary who's only been there for five months would be a huge red flag.

SillyGirl makes some great points Baz. I think you're making a big mistake posting this in a public forum.

So your wife doesn't like HUBGFE but you continue to visit and post. Behind her back or openly? If either, that's not a very strong statement of love for your partner...

I agree with your post, but I often have a strong suspicion that Baz makes up all of this shit as a sick little game for his childish pleasure.

On the other hand Mariner has always been consistent. HOF:no:
