LAS VEGAS - Two suspects shot two police officers in a pizza parlor Sunday, then ran to a nearby Walmart where they killed a third victim before taking their own lives, police said.
Police said no other suspects were being sought.
The violence erupted about 11:30 a.m. at a Cici's restaurant on Nellis Boulevard. Two officers from thewere eating lunch when a man and woman "came in an immediately engaged the officers with gunfire," Officer Laura Meltzer, a spokeswoman for the department, said in a statement.
Witnesses in the restaurant said they heard the suspects say, "This is a revolution."
After severely wounding the officers, the suspects ran to a Walmart kitty-corner to the restaurant. They shot and killed a person near the entrance to the store, than ran inside the Walmart, where they committed suicide, Meltzer said.
"There was some kind of suicide pact," Deputy Sheriff Kevin McMahill told the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
Meltzer said in a statement two police officers were killed, but that has not yet been confirmed. Another police spokesperson, Larry Hadfield, told the Associated Press the condition of the two officers was not immediately known. The Review-Journal said one died at the scene, while the other died later in surgery.
"I think in any case where people are ambushed and shot it's upsetting to the public," Hadfield told The Associated Press. "We don't know anything about the suspects yet and are trying to learn more."
"We express our deepest condolences to everyone who have been affected by this senseless act of violence," the Wal-Mart Corp. said in a statement. "Our store is currently closed. This is still an active investigation and we are working with local police."

Assistant Sheriff Kevin McMahill said the two suspects, Jerad Miller and his wife, Amanda, had ideology that was along the lines of "militia and white supremacists" and that law enforcement was the "oppressor."
McMahill said the shootings were an isolated act and officers were still looking for a motive.
The two officers were having lunch at a strip mall pizza buffet when the Millers fatally shot them at point-blank range in an ambush. The suspects then fled to a nearby Wal-Mart, where they killed a third person and then themselves in an apparent suicide pact, authorities said.
The attack at a CiCi's Pizza restaurant killed Officers Alyn Beck, 41, and Igor Soldo, 31, who are both husbands and fathers. Jerad Miller yelled, "This is a revolution!" McMahill said.
McMahill said at a news conference Monday that both suspects fired multiple shots into Beck. They then placed a note, a yellow "Don't tread on me" flag and a swastika on the officers' bodies.

A suspect has been taken into custody after a woman and a Vancouver police officer were shot after gunfire erupted at two separate locations Tuesday morning.
Police found a woman suffering gunshot wounds after responding to reports of shots fired outside a Starbucks at Davie Street and Marinaside Crescent in the city’s Yaletown area shortly after 11 a.m.
She was rushed to hospital in serious condition.
A police spokesperson said the suspected shooter was chased to the area around Telus World of Science several kilometres away, where a firefight broke out between officers and the alleged gunman.
“There was an exchange of gunfire that resulted in both the man and an officer being injured,” said Sgt. Randy Fincham.
An unmarked police car parked on the seawall outside the complex has a smashed back window and what appears to be a pool of blood is visible behind the vehicle.
The suspect, whose condition is unknown, was taken into custody. Vancouver police say the officer only suffered minor injuries in the gunfire.
Several blocks around and Telus World of Science the Yaletown Starbucks have been cordoned off with police tape and officers are interviewing witnesses.
A group of construction workers in the area said they heard 10 to 12 gunshots, and ducked for cover.
One witnesss who spoke to CTV News said he first thought the shooting was a large explosion.
“So I looked out and I saw a guy leaning across the roof of a car with a big black handgun,” he said.
Several blocks have been cordoned off with police tape and officers are interviewing witnesses.
No traffic is being allowed through the area.
Police say there are no other suspects outstanding.

No, that is not what my comment says. That's your interpretation taken to silly extremes.
If there is ready accessibility to weapons (of any kind), they will be more likely to be used in a spur-of-the-moment situation. I said premeditated attacks will likely not be affected much, except when there is real fear of severe penalties for using a weapon (as there are in the UK, where, incidentally, gun-related crimes are a fraction of what they are in the US).
I am certainly not saying that anyone who owns a gun with go off the deep end and shoot someone. That's an absurd argument, akin to your "having a penis must mean rape" statement. What it does mean is that when someone does go off the deep end, having a gun readily accessible means they are more likely to use it. Which is why the gun-related homicide rates in the US are much, much higher than any other country that does not have free gun ownership rules. There is a relationship which even the NRA admits to. I make no comment on well-behaved gun owners.
In the US, pretty much everyone has the right to keep guns around. That's the law, and I'm fine with it as such but when somebody goes off the deep end and has a gun at hand, they will use it. No gun, no use except when it's premeditated. That's not really disputable as all the research done shows that is the case.
But why is it so hard for US citizens to realize that the more guns there are in the system, the more gun-related violence there will be? You are willing to put up with it? Fine! But tell the next accidentally-shot kid who comes into your ER that it's fine, we all can keep guns for our "self defence", and see how happy he is.
