I'm guessing there's a joke there somewhere but I'm not getting it. Are you here 'til the end of the month?

Jawbone said:My question is and I am asking for the purpose of discussion only. Why is it that most heterosexual men find two women having sex so appealing and those same men will turn away looking at two men engaged in sex?
Because they've been told one is hot and the other will lead to them being criticized, ostracized, or otherwise socially punished.
Complicated question for a forum (if years and years of thinking can't do it we probably can't either), and ultimately irrelevent to how one lives one's daily life.
I like that the group is articulating live-and-let-live, but it scares me that in a lot of cases it might be live-and-let-live but don't let me see/experience it personally. Separate but equal is simply not a strategy that works out too well.

You make some good points, but get a weak when you begin the, 'how do you know if you've not tried it' line of thinking.
I don't have to be an alcoholic to know it's not for me. i don't haver to addicted to Oxy to know it's not a good thing. I've done some thrilling things, but I have no desire to wrestle alligators, nor do I have any internal need to run with the bulls in Pamplona.
Not experiencing something doesn't make your lack of interest in it invalid.
Fair, I wasn't clear. I'm not saying you need to try being with the same gender to know if you're attracted, simply voicing concern with the "do it and be free with it, just don't let me see or know about it" crowd. That wold be someone who might say they don't care about your sexual orientation and won't discriminate, but don't like someone having a picture of their partner on their desk, same-sex partners kissing each other goodbye in public, or don't support the primary partner's rights to make healthcare decisions or adopt based on the fact that they have matching genitalia.Blackrock13 said:You make some good points, but get a weak when you begin the, 'how do you know if you've not tried it' line of thinking.

Men find two women together 'hot' but not two men because they've been socially conditioned to believe that female sexuality isn't its own entity, and cannot exist without male interest/comment/at minimum observation.
Also interesting that it's only 'hot' when it's two male-deemed-attractive women involved (usually tall, slender, longer hair, busty), and only activities performed for male-viewing pleasure (see CG's posted pictures.). I doubt genuine girl-on-girl sex would have a market in the pornography world, and as such there's virtually nothing out there.
But that's an aside from the orgininal question.

No more than liking a Dominant guy makes me a bad feminist. Gen says you can't hold someone accountable for what they like in the bedroom, and I'm subscribing to her school of thought.Cycleguy007 said:You say that like its a bad thing?
Seriously though, I admit you have a point... but the stuff from Girlfriends Films is likely as "real" as you will get in the porn world and still does very well.
But, I also admit that I prefer Viv Thomas... Does that make me a bad person?

Definitely, I'm not targeting anyone. I'm sure cute-bald would also agree with youAuggie said:Excellent points, I fully agree.
Women are also conditioned to find some types attractive, not just men so we're each missing out on so many possibilities.

Nah. If you want "real" dyke porn, check out The Crash Pad series. This is as "real" as you will get in porn (from my research at least).Cycleguy007 said:You say that like its a bad thing?
