This video showing cop tasering handcuffed girl helped clear 267-pound Trooper Daniel Cole of wrongdoing and have released this disturbing dash cam video that captured him tasing a 100 pound, 20 year old handcuffed girl in the back as she fled.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement determined Trooper Daniel Cole's "use of force" was justified when he tased the woman last September at the FHP Pinellas Park Substation and cleared him of wrongdoing.

The fleeing woman, Danielle Maudsley, 20, suffered severe brain damage after hitting her head on the concrete and has been in a persistent vegetative state ever since.

The video shows Maudsley fleeing a back door of the substation with Cole following closely behind.

Maudsley was arrested for her alleged involvement in two hit-and-run crashes and driving without a license.

Cole brought Maudsley to the substation to complete his paperwork before taking her to the Pinellas County Jail, according to FHP reports.

As she enters the parking lot, Cole deploys his taser and Maudsley hits the ground hard, with her head slamming into the asphalt.

"What were you thinking? What are you, stupid?," Cole can be heard asking Maudsley on the video.
"I can't get up," said Maudsley.
"I don't want you to get up," said Cole.
"I can't get up," Maudsley said again. The last words Maudsley has spoken since being tasered.

On the video, Maudsley loses consciousness about two minutes after hitting her head.
Maudsley's mother said the trooper should have used other means to stop her daughter from fleeing.
"He was right behind her. He could've reached out," Maudsley said. "It was unnecessary."
The mother hired defense attorney Kevin Haylsett, who put FHP on notice for a lawsuit.

Hayslett said Cole violated FHP's taser policy which states:
"Fleeing cannot be the sole reason for the deployment."
"When you shoot someone in the back, and they're running away, all that force -- as you saw when Danielle's head hit the concrete -- that's why they don't allow you to do that, because you can have horrible tragedies like this," Hayslett said.

With any rule, there is an exception.

An Office of Inspector General Investigation Unit report states: "Although the FHP policy on Electronic Control Devices states that a member should not use the device on a handcuffed prisoner, it also provides that there may be situations that conflict with this policy."

The report goes on to state: "In this situation, Maudsley ... removed one of her handcuffs while in the back of Cole's patrol car, and moved her handcuffs from behind her back, to in front of her body, as she attempted to flee the FHP Station. In addition, Maudsley was running towards US Highway 19 which is a high volume road."

According to the report, Maudsley had oxycodone and cocaine in her system at the time.

"The Florida Department of Law Enforcement conducted an independent review of the incident," FHP spokesperson Sgt. Steve Gaskins said. "Their investigation found that the trooper's actions were legal and within the scope of his duties."

"He would've been better off to use his nightstick on her than he would a taser," Hayslett said.

The attorney also pointed out that Maudsley only weighs about 100 pounds.

In the report, Cole said he chose to use the taser because he "felt she was more susceptible to being injured if he attempted to tackle her." Cole weighs approximately 267 pounds.

Hayslett called the dash cam video disturbing. "It's one of those videos -- when you see it and you watch her head hit the pavement -- that it's hard to get those images out of your head," he said.

Maudsley's mom said her daughter's prognosis is not good. She is likely to remain in a vegetative state.

Maudsley is now in a Ft. Lauderdale rehab center that specializes in severe brain injuries.

You've heard of lazy fat cops?.

Here is proof.

Its funny how it's justice for men with a badge to murder innocent people like this. There was NO WAY this man was putting these officers in any danger at the distance it was from them. The worst they should of done was shoot him in the leg or something like that simply because he had no firearm, just a knife. That is uncalled for and these officers should be put on trial for this.

There is no way to use lethal force in this situation at all. It was not close range and no firearm was being held by the suspect and yet these officers were justified in their action? What is this world coming to?

Yes he had a record but they didn't know it then and yes he was dumb enough not to put his knife down but please this is not a Hollywood movie. We are talking about a human being.

It's becoming obvious the police can do whatever they like and we are seeing the US becoming more and more a police state with Canada not too far behind. Most of us are about to find this out when the John sweeps start after the Conservatives wrongly implement the Nordic Model and make criminals out of most of us.

Police Fire At Mentally Ill Man 47 Times, Killing Him — But They Won’t Face Charges

Six police officers in Saginaw, Michigan fired at a mentally ill, homeless man 47 times — after being called for a stolen cup of coffee. Hit by 11 bullets, 49-year-old suspect Milton Hall died on site, but the FBI and U.S. Department of Justice .

A federal investigation was launched in response to a wrongful death lawsuit filed by Hall’s mother, Jewel Hall, and District Attorney Hugh M. Davis. The fatal shooting occurred in July of 2012, after a convenience store called the police about the stolen beverage.

In the lawsuit, Davis claimed that the Police Sergeant at the time, Anjanette Wojciechowski, was the first officer to arrive at the scene, after which she called for backup because the suspect did not ‘[look] so nice.’ Davis also alleges that Wojciechowski also said that she would ‘have to shoot [the] guy’ if the officers did not move quickly, without being provoked.

When additional officers joined the scene, they allegedly surrounded Hall and intimidated him with a dog.

According to the prosecutors, Hall dialed 911 in search of help, and began waving a pocket knife in defense. The cops fired at him before he received assistance.

Before the verdict was reached, Davis raised the fact that Milton was known to have a history of mental health problems. “Hall had been approached, contacted, and/or detained by officers of the city on several occasions without incident prior to this date, largely as a result of behaviors related to his illness. As a result, (the officers) knew or should have known of his disability and had a duty to accommodate that disability in their dealings with him.”

Neverthless, it was concluded that neither criminal intent nor misconduct were involved. A news release issued by the Justice Department, U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Michigan, and FBI stated that “Even if the officers were mistaken in their assessment of the threat posed by Hall, this would not establish that the officers acted willfully, or with an unlawful intent, when using deadly force against Hall.”

This was not the first instance in which police officers shot a mentally ill person, and similar stories have garnered national attention. Last January, a schizophrenic 18-year-old boy was shot dead after a cop rushed to use his weapon. Internal investigators cleared two of three officers involved, and the third is currently on paid administrative leave. In December, an unarmed, schizophrenic man was shot dead after a car chase in Los Angeles.

In a non-fatal incident, a cop asked a mentally ill black man to sing and make animal noises.

Does this look familiar?

Shit happens, if you're told to put your hands up, do so! I'm kinda tired hearing about all of this! Don't do bad shit, don't hang out with bad people, don't be caught in places where you shouldn't be!

Cops require constant training and supervision certainly but shit happens!

If the police do not change their attitudes soon sadly I think they will find they will be at the end of attacks from the public.

North Carolina deputy snatches two phones for recording her, fails to snatch the third phone

A North Carolina deputy confiscated two separate cell phones recording
her in the midst of confronting a retired Marine combat instructor. A video provided to Photography Is Not a Crime shows the deputy losing her cool and snatching the phones, but the video directly contradicts her claim that she arrested Carlos Jaramillo for acting aggressive.

I wonder what were the names of the officers that did not violates the rights of those arrested??

So a guy is killing you and your friends using a knife. It's 3 of you but the attacker is hard to handle and stabs all of you.
So you and one of your friends see an opening and run out of the apartment with bleeding stab wounds. The attacker has pinned down your second friend and is ripping at his face while you and your other friend escape.

The police arrive just as you and one friend run out of the apartment. So the cops shoot you dead and shoot your friend too then go inside the apartment
and arrest the attacker as he is ripping off a victims face without firing a shot.

The cops will be allowed to keep working and collecting their pay. Pretty fucked up, eh?.
