Police are searching for three suspects involved in an armed robbery in the city's east end.

Officers were called into a Tim Hortons at Victoria Park and Consumers Road around 10:45 p.m. Thursday.

According to acting Staff-Sgt. Douglas Minor, a man had a prearranged meeting with someone from Kijiji to buy some electronic products.

When no one showed up, the man returned to his car where he was approached by three men who pepper sprayed and robbed the victim at gunpoint.

The men were believed to have been wearing black and masks at the time of the robbery.

Police do not have a suspect descriptions at the moment.
