Boy In 6th Grade Benched for Scoring Too Many Touchdowns

What ever happened to take no prisoner?. I think we are teaching the kids the wrong way of thinking and playing.

The worst part of this whole thing is that he is being taught that there shall be punishments for performing at his full potential, and that he should not try his best in everything he does; that mediocrity is better than greatness. It is nothing but a person, (people) trying to stifle greatness solely because it is greatness.

This is a really fucked up society we live in when people hold these values as the ideal.

Why not....people want to do the same thing to millionaires don't they. It's not fair that the top 1% own so much of the wealth. They didn't earn it all by themselves (this kid had teammates blocking for him, coaches teaching him, shoe companies making his cleats, etc).

I'm kind of hoping this is a sarcastic comment.

Regardless, every kid on the team has the same blockers, cleats, teachers, etc., but one kid shines above the rest of them. There comes a point in all aspects of life where one discovers that not all people are created equal. Some have talent, some work their asses off, but the best do a combination of the two. Why shouldn't the best of the best be allowed to achieve their full potential?

I agree with you A1 100%. Let the kid go and see what he can do. Having said this we all know if this young lad doesn't get injured (knees, back) he will be making some real big money soon.

Hear the kid talk? Like they said his parents have brought him up well.

The principal on the other hand has her politically correct head up her arse.

And if I'm on the other team I'm pissed because I want to stop this dude on my own,

He is a well raised kid for sure, so nice to see. Hopefully when he's making millions he will take the Principle to McDonalds for a treat.
