The details are all worked out and we will be having our St Patrick's bash at Spacco on Thursday March 14th from 8pm on.

Spacco Restaurant and Bar 2415 Yonge St. Toronto, ON (416) 489-4163

Thursday night, they have a DJ playing and specials on bottles at $100.

Remember this is a billard hall / restaurant and we do expect our guests to make use of the menu and pool tables.

Clicking on the above link will give you an active map of the area.

Prices are reasonable with the majority of the menu under $20. Please click on to access their site and check out their menu.

I'll make use of the pool tables ... maybe not the way that I hope considering the attendees lol

I can't tell from the photos ... they have a snooker table? or is it strictly 4 x 8 tables? Either way I'm leaving my stick at home ... it's all about fun that night, not competition.

A party right in my 'hood and free night in my calendar!

Spacco gets the Phat Bastard Seal of Culinary Approval. The funghi risotto is delicious.

They used to have both 9x5's and 3 full sized billiard tables, but I haven't been there in years.

Bring the cue's if you're up for a game. I'll be sure to ask about the table sizes. I know they changed the place around a bit. Perhaps RAWD could fill us in on that since he obviously loves the food there :YMAPPLAUSE:

I haven't been since last spring. I also didn't go for the balls; just to meet some friends in the hood.

Plus, who are we kidding, I'll eat anything.

Flyer is up, copy it and spread the word folks!

Thanks for organizing this again Sheik. Your effort, hardwork devotion for us to meet the ladies very much appreciated.

Based on the christmas party do you think it would be possible to have the agencies/indy's identified in some way?

Furthermore, given the fact that there were A LOT of people there...likely not exclusively HUBGFE members (maybe the reason some raffle prizes were unclaimed because non members won them) is the plan to keep this party a HUBGFE exclusive?

Anything is good.

Thanks Sheik. I hope we get a good agency and Indy turn out..not that there is any doubt we wont. :)

Just a thought - if unclaimed prizes abound, why not arrange for a raffle at a later date to raise some money for a worthy charity?

We are already working on securing a venue for our annual Christmas party. We have been discussing charging a fee for the ticket and turning it into a dinner party but thats all depending on what the majority prefer. The Christmas event will be a closed party, our St Patrick's event is at a public facility and our area will be off to one side.

Yes, Steph and Steve are aware of it. But we still need everyone asking everyone if they are coming. Would really like this to be the biggest St Patrick's party the boards have seen.

Comment like this why I don't attend theses in Toronto ......
Perhaps to ChaosTheory we could just have branded instead .
If was was to attend would be socialize... not be labeled .
As much as I think Shiek does an amazing job do this .
I wouldn't go looking for clients , or to labeled it be just to go & have a drink & get to some of the posters here on the board
Sorry but my 5 cents ( NO MORE PENNIES)

The guys ask so it's easier for them to know who is who. It's completely optional for everyone, not a requirement. You keep going on about why you wont go over some comments that some of the member made. However at the events the vast majority of those in attendance are quite respectful, just a small number lack some social skills. I pay a lot of attention to everyone at the parties to ensure that everyone enjoys themselves. I've moved away from swingers clubs and strip clubs to try and create a more welcoming environment for everyone, especially for the ladies.

I've never been forced to wear a name tag... I think it's an optional thing. Having said that I will always wear one ... just in case people don't recognize the short lil bundle of energy with glasses ....

Jessica, a t-shirt with your sig pic would give credence to a "picture is worth a 1000 name tags".
