On Wednesday October 30th from 8pm til closing, Diamond's Cabaret has graciously provided us with access to their downstairs VIP Stag room for our Halloween party. You can enter from the side door on the West side of the club. We will have our own bar and private room for the event.

Please remember that in Peel region, the cops are always checking for drinking and driving so keep that in mind and catch a cab if you're going to be drinking.

For those of you who are uncomfortable with the strip club atmosphere. Please be advised that the VIP Stag room is a private area and the dancers will be screened before being permitted to socialize with our friends. I have taken a lot of flack in the past with unfriendly dancers that made it uncomfortable for the ladies. The management of Diamonds understands this and will ensure that all our female guests will feel welcome in their facility.


Public transit is available between Kipling subway station and the club and a cab ride is less than ten bucks. No cover.

Was really hoping for a downtown party at Wicked again, but we can't always get what we want. Still really looking forward to the party. Anyway, I just want to say I'm a regular at the Amateur Monday strip contest at Diamonds so I usually stay until the contest is over and the Mississauga Transit has stopped running. I just want to clarify and tell everyone the cab ride is not $10. It is usually around $15 and sometimes it gets close to $20 depending on the driver when he is taking you to the Blue Night 24 hrs. bus on the Bloor/Danforth line.

Just wanted to get a sense of who are committed. I have been to one industry party before and there were not that many girls. I think the stag room at Diamonds is in the basement no?

They usually don't start committing to attending until closer to the date of the party. It's 3 weeks away.

I repeated the $10 price, but I agree with your price estimate. With that being said, I don't think most people will be bringing $10 in quarters and a lone TTC token. From memory, and not being a regular there, I usually expect about a $5 back on a $20 from the Kipling kiss-and-go to the Mr. Sub down the road from the club.

TOM, believe it or not it was actually one of your posts written either here or the red board a few years back that mentioned the cab ride was $10. I believed what you wrote since you had no reason to lie or mislead us. I was disappointed when it was more than $10, but that has not deterred me from going to the club on a regular basis. Anyway, I've been going to Diamonds for at least 3 years and maybe once in a blue moon the cab fare gets to be as cheap as $10 if the driver is speeding and I don't give him a tip. LOL Other than that it is 9 out of 10 times more than $10.

Right across the street from Diamonds is a Tim Horton's that I frequent all the time at those late hours.

Sorry about that-- You are allowed to call me out when I'm wrong. I wouldn't want to strand anybody without a way home. I usually try to be very precise about beer / cover / VIP prices, so if I re-review a place I cab hop to I'll try to be exact to pessimistic about the fare in the future. Nothing like me referencing a price I myself may have put in the public consciousness. I'm pretty sure my most recent memory of the place was getting a $5 back at the Mr. Sub down the road, but it's been a good while.

Like I said, sorry if I disappointed you. Most of my reviews get written a few days after the fact, and while I always tried to put as much detail and precision in as I can, time and alcohol are a factor. I once remembered a pool table from 'I Don Knows' that was removed a year earlier. (Would have sworn it was there, but no reason to doubt the correction, and the next time I was there it was indeed gone.) LOL. I'm sorry about that as well.

I always do my best to answer / review 'in good faith', and I usually try to be clear about first hand experience vs repeating adult forum stuff. Hopefully I haven't shaken too many people's views of random SC weirdos from the Internet. :sorry2:
