no matter who you vote for the government always gets in.
Bill Maher said it best the other night: Unlike business, where if there's no more money a company can't spend any more, the government just prints more or raises taxes whenever it needs more.
One day, somewhere, sometime, we're going to reach our breaking point and there's going to be a revolution. Then the politicos will sit back and say to themselves "why oh why do they feel this way? Look at what we've done for them"?

scotty said:Well how far away can that breaking point be...the Yankees are certainly in a fix right now, and I suspect everyone is paddeling and bailing as hard as they can to keep things afloat. NO big bail out funds available next time, and how long can one keep printing money?
Im not crazy about the system but I do feel that the Current Fed govt is the most fiscally responcible of the choices available.

Chunky said:I agree of the parties available to us the Federal Tories are probably the better of the 3 but I 'm sorry to say I still prefer to see them with a minority. Mostly because Harper let me down when he supported Premier Dad with the HST and as Tboy mentioned he hasn't been exactly the most fiscally responsible Prime Minister either.
Why can we not have a party that is not so ideologically driven? A common sense party, one that can take the good policies (if any) of all 3 view points (Conservative, Liberal and NDP), mish mash it and come up with some common sense leadership.
Yeah I'm grasping at straws again, I need a big gorgeous woman real bad!!! HELP I'm losing it!!!!!![]()
Fullthrottle said:A common sense party? Isn't that how Mike Harris won the Provincial election some years back? Mind you, he was more conservative minded than the Federal Conservatives.
tboy said:That implies that the conservatives are actually conservative. In other words, won't spend anything more than they have to which we know is 100% bullshit, they're no more conservative than a Hummer.....
